Now, this is a matte black finish as far as on the stopper here, and this is a nice spring-loaded application. So, you simply push it down, and then you push it again to open it back up and that's gonna let the water drain out of the sink. So, if you're replacing a broken drain assembly, maybe you're upgrading, this is a great option for you. Everything here is a nice plastic construction.
You got the rubber gasket that you need and everything else is plastic. Pretty easy to screw on and off and install. Just make sure you're following the instructions.
