Fogatti HybridShower 6 Pro RV water heater has a 6-gallon tank with propane, electric, and hybrid heating modes plus 3 adjustable temperature settings.
Some campsites include full electrical hookups, while others leave you relying more heavily on propane. This water heater gives you propane, electric, and hybrid heating modes, so you can use the available power source or combine both for stronger recovery when hot water demand increases. Propane heating provides 12,000 Btus, while the electric element runs on 120V AC power at 1,440 watts.
The 6-gallon tank keeps hot water ready for showers, washing dishes, and other everyday RV tasks while taking up less space. It holds less water for back-to-back use, but the smaller size makes it a practical replacement for many older 4- and 6-gallon water heaters. Replacing an older water heater is easier when the new unit works with the existing wall opening. This model is designed for a minimum 13" x 13" opening and can replace many older 4-gallon and 6-gallon Suburban, Atwood, and Dometic water heaters. A compatible exterior access door is required and sold separately.
Different tasks do not always need the same water temperature. Three preset options let you select 104F for milder everyday use, 122F for general washing and showering, or 140F when hotter stored water is preferred. The fixed settings make it easier to choose a consistent temperature without repeatedly fine-tuning the controls.
Traditional tank water heaters often use a sacrificial anode rod that wears down and must be checked or replaced. This unit uses a powered titanium anode rod to help protect the tank from corrosion without the same routine replacement schedule. That means one less recurring maintenance item to manage between trips.
The 4-layer protected water tank is wrapped in 3-gauge EPDM foam insulation to help retain heat between uses. This helps keep the stored water warm while reducing how often the system needs to reheat the tank during normal campsite use.
Built-in dry burn, water pressure, and overheat protections help shut down or limit operation when unsafe conditions are detected. The upgraded anti-freeze system helps protect internal components as temperatures fall, while the built-in pressure relief valve drain supports pressure release and system draining. Proper winterization is still required during storage or prolonged freezing conditions.
Exterior access door is not included. Unit includes a built-in pressure relief valve drain. Proper winterization is required during storage or prolonged freezing conditions.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at our Fogatti hybrid shower RV water heater running with 12,000 BTUs on either propane or electric, six gallons capacity, and as you can see, it has a nice gray door. So folks, if you've ever had to choose between conserving your propane or waiting on your hot water at the campsite, this water heater will give you a lot more flexibility, as I mentioned, six gallon capacity, but, again, it operates on both propane or electric, and spin around to the side here, you can see the electrical connection. Right through here, you can run back in here through that propane connection, and you can match the heating source to your campsite hookups or use the hybrid mode when you want stronger, faster water recovery. Now, as you can see, it comes with this nice gray door included. You will need a 13 by 13-inch wall opening for this to fit through and work properly, and as you know, you just simply open the spring-loaded door hatch here.
I just have it loosely fit on the table, so bear with me, and then, obviously, right now, you can get inside. Now, we can see the guts, if you will, of the water heater. Right up here is your propane connection. They put these plastic caps on here just to protect the threads and stuff from shipping. You got your emergency valve here for pressure and everything, and then you have an on/off switch back here for main power on and off, and you, also, besides all that, will get included a nice wall-mounted...
You got the holder, and then you got the nice wall-mounted regulator switch, remote, whatever you want to call it, and you can see on here, you got three preset temperatures, 104, 122, and 140, and, obviously, those lower two are gonna be recommended for showering. The 140 is not really recommended because it's too hot, you can get burned. That's gonna be more for when you want to keep water hot longer. Maybe you bump that up to 140 before you leave the campsite if you're not gonna have power or propane. For whatever reason, you can keep that water probably warm for a little bit, obviously, but you have those options.
Along with the door, you do have some nice foam tape and all the mounting screws needed to mount this door and the unit in place, and then come around slowly to the back, you got your water hookups. They are marched red and blue, as you can see, hot and cold. Now, keep in mind, they do test these at the factory. So those caps aren't just protecting the threads, but they also prevent any kind of drip. So if you get this and you're installing it yourself and you get some water dripping out, don't panic.
Totally normal, again, they test these. They got to make sure that they don't leak and those kind of things. Now, that being said, you don't want to do the installation yourself No problem, we got you covered. So if you scroll down on this page, you'll see what's called an install locator link, and based on your zip code, when you click on that link, answer some questions, we can help pair you up with trusted etrailer installation places local to your area. Now, another thing to mention here before we close is you can see on this tank, all the way around it, you have this EPDM foam. It's actually four layers. So you got four layers of insulation that's gonna help retain heat between use. It's also got built-in features in the unit itself that protect it from dry burn, excessive water pressure, overheating, freezing conditions, and all that's gonna help support reliable daily uses and normal operation, but we do also recommend, per the manufacturer, make sure you remember to properly winterize your tank as well as your whole water system on your campers and RVs, and if you're not sure how to do that, we got you covered there as well. We got some videos, a lot of nice help articles over here at etrailer.com, and we can walk you through those steps as well, but, again, if you don't want to tackle any of that yourself, there's places around the nation that we're affiliated with based on your zip code, use that install locator, and we'll get that taken care of for you as well. So again, folks, recapping, you need a 13 by 13-inch opening in your wall to get this to fit properly. When it's all said and done installed, you're gonna have a 15 by 15 door, and the whole unit's about 21 and five-eighth inches deep from front to back when installed. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at this Fogatti hybrid shower RV water heater. I'm Steven, thanks so much for watching and have a great day.
