Upgrade From Tank Storage to Continuous Hot Water

Tank water heaters limit how long hot water lasts before recovery is required. This system replaces that setup with a 66,000 Btu tankless heater that produces 3.6 gallons per minute on demand. A high-efficiency heat exchanger transfers heat as water flows through the unit, allowing showers and fixtures to run without waiting for stored water to reheat.

Replace Common Tank Water Heaters Without Reworking Connections

Switching from a tank system often requires modifying gas lines or plumbing. This unit fits standard 15" x 15" cutouts used by Suburban and Atwood 6-gallon water heaters and connects to existing LP gas and water lines. The system installs into the same space and operates using the current hookups, converting the RV to tankless hot water without rerouting connections. An exterior access door is required (sold separately) to complete the installation.

Maintain Stable Temperature During Active Use

Water temperature can shift when demand changes across fixtures. The integrated mixing tank works with staged combustion to regulate heat output by adjusting flame intensity based on flow. Water temperature remains within the selected range during use instead of fluctuating between hot and cold.

Operate Consistently in High Elevation and Wind

Outdoor conditions can affect combustion and system performance. This unit operates at elevations up to 9,800 feet and uses a forced exhaust fan to maintain burner function in winds up to 45 mph. The system continues producing usable hot water as environmental conditions change.

Protect Internal Components During Cold Weather

Freezing temperatures can damage internal water pathways when the system is exposed. Built-in freeze protection monitors internal temperature and activates heating when conditions drop. Water pathways remain above freezing while the system has power and gas supply.

Monitor Operation and Shut Down Unsafe Conditions

System faults can interrupt hot water use or create unsafe conditions. This unit includes a remote controller for temperature adjustment and system feedback, along with automatic gas shutoff and a pressure relief valve. The system displays status and stops operation when fault conditions are detected.
