This replacement kit takes the hassle out of swapping an old or torn awning. The roller tube comes with the fabric already installed, so you don’t have to wrestle with feeding material onto the roller. It’s built specifically for 16' Solera Destination awnings that extend 9'8" from the RV, giving you a direct fit that installs smoothly.
The premium 13.5-oz vinyl fabric holds up in all kinds of weather. It’s cold-crack tested down to -25°F, so it stays flexible even in freezing conditions. The seams are heat-welded to block leaks, while the arched canopy design stops water from pooling on top. The Sand Fade color transitions from white at the RV wall to beige at the edge for a clean, modern look.
The included Solera Awnbrella tensioning bars snap in under the canopy to keep the fabric arched and tight. Rust-resistant aluminum construction helps prevent sagging and flapping in the wind. A center ground support bar adds strength and stability when the awning is extended.
When you retract the awning, the white aluminum Solera Shield wraps over the fabric to protect it from sun and road grime. This keeps the vinyl looking fresh and helps it last longer between replacements.
To confirm the correct size, measure from the center of the awning’s left arm to the center of its right arm. For this model, that distance should be 16'. The fabric measures 181" wide with a 16' roller tube. The assembly fits Solera Destination awnings with a 9'8" projection and includes the hardware needed for installation.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here, and today I'm in Elkhart, Indiana, which is the RV capital of the world. And if you have a camper, the name Lippert probably is somewhere on your camper, and today we're at the corporate headquarters, and we're gonna be talking to some of their product experts to take a closer look at their products. So, let's hop inside and get to chatting. So Dymon, if I have a Solera awning already, and I've had it on my camper for a while, but it's got a tear, whether from wear and tear, or it's just starting to get old and dingy and I wanna replace it, you can absolutely do that. Yeah, absolutely. We have replacement fabrics, maybe you want just a different color.
We have a wide variety of colors available to you. All different sizes, you can see down here. So we're going to fit whatever current awning you have. But it's a very convenient way to get a new look on your awning without investing for the whole awning itself. 13 half ounce vinyls, five year warranty on 'em.
So we know it's a good vinyl and it's gonna last a while. And again, you see green burgundies, blue, silvers, sand. You know, at the campsite there's a lot of times you look around, and to stand out at campsites, people want to do that. And you can color coordinate to however you want. So you know, if you're a certain sports team fan and you really want to show it, you can do that with your awning with replacement fabric.
So you know, a good chance, if you are trying to make your camper look a little bit more presentable with a nicer awning or replace a damaged one, it's a good chance that you can get the same one or you can jazz it up a little bit. Or change it if you wish. Yep. Awesome. Well thank you, Dymon, for taking the time to show us the replacement fabric for the Solera awnings.
