Today we're going to be taking a looking at the Valterra 90-degree rotating RV waste valve. This valve replacing a 3 inch waste valve on your RV. It's going to feature a 3 inch bladex valve. It's going to feature a hub connection on this side. We're going to have the bayonet-style connection on this side. The hub, this is going to give us an inner diameter measurement of around 3 1/2 inches. The bayonet-style connection, that's going to give us an outer diameter of 3 1/2 inches.
That's a 4 pin design. This will accept bayonet-style fittings with a 2 hook or 4 hook design. It's just a really nice feature. It's a nice tight, secure connection. It does come with a cap. The cap has a seal on there to keep anything from seeping out.
That's a 2 hook design so that just goes on there, it rotates. Those hooks engage the pins and that's going to be what creates a nice solid connection between the cap and the connection points or between a drain hose and the connection points. Again, you're going to have your hub on this side and then you're going to have your bayonet connection on this side. It does come with a cap that's tethered to the housing. That way you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing that. It's also going to come with a black T handle that allows for easy operation when it comes to closing and opening the valve.
This valve is also designed to rotate, that way you can position the handle to a location that works best for your application. You can see how that rotates. It'll rotate 360 degrees around the unit. The unit internally is going to feature the appropriate seal inaudible 00:01:44 performance. A few measurements that I want to mention. Just measuring the valve portion right here, overall height of this portion is going to be about 9 1/2 inches with the handle closed.
It's going to extend about 13 inches with the handle open. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra 90-degree rotating RV waste valve. .

Exactly what we needed! It arrived a day earlier than expected, saving a camping trip after our OEM part actually fell off our motorhome. It fit as expected, installed easily, and will be a huge improvement on our well-worn OEM one. If you're on the fence, just replace the part.
The product was explain to me by one of your customer service people. The only thing I would add on the description would be it has a male 3 inch side, so you will need a collar to attach to a 3 inch pipe.

Well made valve was the perfect product for my replacement project with exactly the features that were needed. Moving to use of the SewerSolution System for one of my two black tanks that each have separate dump valves in separate locations. This valve shortened up the length of the pipe and valve placing the outlet at a more convenient angle for attachment and operation of the SewerSolution System.
