Some sealants work fine on flat surfaces but start to run when applied to vertical or overhead joints. This high viscosity adhesive sealant stays where it's applied and bonds to a wide range of common materials.
Some sealants flow after application, making them difficult to use on vertical surfaces and overhead joints. Sikaflex 505 UV HV uses a high viscosity, thixotropic formula that helps resist sagging during sealing and bonding applications. It bonds to aluminum, steel, glass, marble, wood, and many plastics, while weather resistance supports use in exposed joints found on RVs, trailers, metal buildings, HVAC equipment, and other outdoor applications.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Sikaflex 505UV. It's a high viscosity sealant for RVs, and it's a white color and 300 millimeter tube. So folks, some sealants flow after you apply them, making them difficult to use on vertical and overhead joints and surfaces. So, this is great for vertical ceilings, as I mentioned, maybe RV walls, side panels, camper RV enclosures where gravity can cause that sealant to run.
Or maybe overhead joints such as roof trims, skylight frames, canopy edges, those kind of things. The Sikaflex 505UV, again, it's a high viscosity, thixotropic formula, say that 10 times fast, that helps resist sagging during sealing and bonding applications. This can bond to aluminum, steel, glass, marble, wood, many plastics, and a lot of this is gonna work great while weather resistant supports are used in those exposed joints. Again, whether it's RVs, campers, trailers, metal buildings, HVAC equipment, and other outdoor equipment and applications as well. So, always make sure you're reading the instructions.
Make sure you're prepping the site and the surfaces per the manufacturer's instructions to clean any debris and stuff off and before you apply the sealant. That's gonna wrap up our quick look together, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
