Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at a MEC 36 inch long RV Propane Quick Disconnect Hose. So if you have exterior propane connections on your RV or camper, maybe for your grill or other appliances, sometimes the factory hose just doesn't give you enough room or a quick connection that you want. So this hose works as both an extension, giving you three feet between your RV and that appliance, and it also lets you move other equipment faster for set up and put away as well. So again, looking at the end, you have your quick connect here on both sides.
And this right here, whenever it's in this direction, means I cannot open that quick connect. But if I tilt it down and just spin it, now I can release that, spring load it. You can see the little ball bearings here on the side. Now I can push my connection in. Now obviously this hose would not go back into itself.
You'd be connecting this to the other end, but this is a good way of showing you how this works. And then you close that back and that allows it to not be accidentally unhooked. So this has to be turned for that to allow it to unhook. And then they give you a nice rubber plug included on the hose for keeping everything nice and clean. Now as far as the hose, it is a thermal hose or a thermoplastic makeup rather, and that just means that it has that flexibility and stuff.
It's not going to break down over time like a lot of hoses do and those kind of things. So it does have the, again, the quick connects. And does have the nice hose here with the brass furls on both ends, crimping it, giving you a nice, clean, strong connection. So again, folks, if you're looking for a quick disconnect set up or a replacement, this one is 36 inches long.
