Features to know about

Restore Cleaning Without Adding Gear

When your central vacuum stops working, switching to a portable unit adds another item to store in a tight space. This CS9 power unit is typically used as a replacement for existing CS-series installations, bringing the built-in system back online. Cleaning returns to a fixed setup that stays in place and does not need to be pulled out each time.

Simplified Electrical Setup

Complicated control systems can slow down straightforward installs. Direct line-voltage operation runs without a circuit board, keeping the electrical setup simple. Power flows through a basic control path that supports consistent system use from the installed unit.

Plug-In Power Connection

Planning power access matters when placing a vacuum unit in a confined area. This unit operates on 120V and includes a power cord for plug-in installation, giving you a clear connection point. Once plugged in, the system is ready to support central vacuum use from its installed location.

Planned Fit for Install Location

Fitting a vacuum unit into a tight compartment can limit where it can go. The required cutout dimensions of 11" long x 6" wide x 6" deep define the installation space. Placement can be planned around that footprint so the unit sits properly within the available area.

Video Transcript for Review of InterVac RV Vacuum - CS6R Vacuum Cleaner Black - IV78FR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this InterVac CS-6R Vacuum Cleaner. Now, this is a remote mounted central vacuum power unit, which basically means that this is going to be the main motor and collection canister. And these are typically installed out of sight, like in a storage compartment, basement area, or utility space instead of inside of your main living area. That's gonna keep the noise and bulk out of the way, which is especially nice in RVs or smaller spaces. So this is designed to be compact and lower capacity.

This is gonna be ideal for your RVs or other small installations. This is not meant for a large home system, so it's built specifically for those tighter spaces where you still want the convenience of a built-in vacuum system. So a couple important things to note. This does not include an accessory kit, so this does not include hoses, attachments, and wall inlets that would be needed to be purchased separately from this if you don't already have them. So this is almost kinda like a replacement unit if that's what you're looking for.

If you're looking just for the unit itself that meets the certain specifications that this gives you, this is gonna be what you need. This is going to run on 110 volt power. So it is meant to be hardwired, so it doesn't come with a standard plug-in power cord. You're gonna need to wire this into your electrical system during installation. And it does have, let me show you here, you pop open this panel here, and then this is where you're gonna have access to changing the dust bag, which it does include a dust bag and a motor filter.

And then when you're ready to replace either the filter or the bags, we do have kits that are included that come with the bags and filters, so you're gonna be able to get replacements here from etrailer when it's time to replace your filter and bags. And then there's your inlet, and then you can close that off as well. So basically everything that you see here, this is going to be the panel that covers that up, that'll be, obviously, included with this. So let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so you can be confident that this is going to be the one that you need. So beginning with the overall, let's call it width, we're sitting pretty close to about 11 5/8 inches wide.

Height, right at about 6 3/4 inches tall, almost seven inches tall. And then the depth, about seven inches deep. So this does include everything that you see here. However, if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this vacuum or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
