Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a real quick look at these InterVac RMD Surface Mount 220-volt Vacuum Cleaners. Now as you can see here on my tabletop, you can either get this in white or black, so whichever color option's gonna work best for you, you can just take the part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website, that will take you to the color option that you want, and you can add that to your order. So these are compact 220-volt central vacuum power units, and they're designed to be more for marine applications like your boats and yachts, because they are 220-volt machines. So even though it's built for tight spaces, these are gonna give you strong suction for cleaning upholstery, carpet, tile, and hard floor. And one of the biggest advantages is going to be the remote mount design.
So the idea here is, instead of taking up valuable living or storage space, the power units can be installed out of the way in a utility compartment or service area. The surface mount housing is also going to give you a straightforward mounting solution without requiring complex modifications. These units offer flexibility during installation with both a top inlet, as you can see here, and a front inlet, as you can see right here. So that means that you can either connect a hose directly at the vacuum unit, or route a remote inlet port to a more convenient location within your boat. Now let me go ahead and just give you some measurements here, I took them before our time together.
So starting with the overall dimensions, the overall height, we're sitting at about 18 inches. The overall width, about nine and a half inches. And then the overall depth, about five and a quarter inches. When we look at the cutout, or the the back dimensions, the overall height's gonna be about 16 inches, the overall width is gonna be about eight inches, and then the depth is gonna be about four inches. Now, the housing on each of these are made from durable composite material, so you're not gonna have to obviously worry about rust and corrosion and things like that, they're gonna hold up really well, especially, again, to those marine environments.
Now, it is important to note that you're only getting what you see here, you're gonna get just the power unit itself. You will get one dust bag, and then you're going to get the hose connection here for the top, and then the included hardware here. So if you're looking for hoses, inlets, or inlet ports, ducting and other accessories like that, and if you don't already have them, you can find those other hoses and accessories here at etrailer, and that's going to allow you to customize the system that's gonna work best for your specific application.
