Video Transcript for Review of HydroTech RV Water Hose - 100 Feet Long - TS58QR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a HydroTech expandable burst-proof max flow hose. That's right, folks. The outside diameter is gonna be about 5/8 inches, and it's gonna be 100 foot long. Now the manufacturer's calling this a yellow color.

To me it's yellow and gray mix, and it's more gray than yellow, but hey, whatever. You get the picture, right So, it does have yellow in it. What's really nice is as you can see, it's very, very flexible. It can go up to, again, 100 foot. It's roughly 35 foot when it's like this, empty of water and just kind of laying there.

Now these are also 75% lighter than a normal 100-foot hose that you would see. These are about 5.5 pounds total, so very lightweight. As you can see, you got brass ends here and you can watch there the ball valve there when I open and close it, will go, and as you can see, it's a standard 3/4-inch connection. And on this end, you got everything built in on both sides, actually, to where it's kink-proof. It's going to create a nice tight seal on the spigot, and these are strain reliefs built into it.

So it's burst proof, kink-free. The mixture of everything inside of here is a high quality latex liner. It's going to resist punctures, tears, and bursts. Now again, you get the integrated shutoff valve that's going to help you regulate water flow, and everything here is ideal for lightweight, carrying, putting away in the small storage area. Now the manufacturer also states that you should not use this for a potable water, meaning don't use it to drink out of those kind of things for your safety.
