Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the HydroTech expandable burst-proof garden hose. Now, folks, this is gonna be your standard 5/8-inch by 50-foot long, in a green color. Now, as I mentioned before, this is an expandable design. As you can see, it rolls up and fits really nice and small, but then when you need to and it fills up with water, it's going to expand out and fill up, giving you the volume that's needed.
It features a 3/4-inch heavy-duty brass connector. And as you can see right now, it's open, and if I turn the ball valve here, you'll see that silver ball close off the water flow. And everything here is very heavy-duty. Again, it is burst-proof. It's not gonna freeze and bust or anything like that.
The outer hose jacket resists abrasions for many, many years and gives you long lasting use. Now, they did not market this as safe for drinking water, so make sure you're not using it for transferring drinkable or potable water. Only use it for maybe watering or refilling things as needed. Again, 50-foot long whenever it's fully stretched out, whenever it's closed like it is now or not in use, it's gonna be 18 feet. And then it, you know, closes up and shrinks down really nice and small here in a nice small unit.
And these are your standard fittings as far as the actual sizes. They do give you an additional rubber washer included. And again, very nice, high-quality. It's got an extreme relief guard on both ends, so nothing here is gonna break or bust off. And again, it is a kink-free, burst-proof design.
Now the inside of this uses a high-quality latex inner liner that you can't see, obviously, and that's gonna resist punctures, tears, and also resistant to burst pressure. Now, this is a super light hose when empty compared to other things. It's about 75% lighter than your standard hose. This is only about less than four pounds, so it's a very nice option as well. Easily toss it into a storage container, storage compartment when not in use. That's gonna wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
