Features to know about

Reliable Power for Your Everyday Setup

If your setup demands more, the ASW 3000 delivers. With 3,000 watts of steady power, you can run a microwave, keep the coffee brewing, chill drinks in a mini-fridge, and stream your favorite shows, all at the same time. This inverter gives you the power to live the way you want, whether you're unplugged in the middle of nowhere or hooked up at a campground. And because staying connected matters just as much as staying comfortable, this system makes it easy to transition between power sources without missing a beat.

Automatically Switches No Matter Where You Are

The built-in 30-amp transfer switch automatically senses and switches between shore power and your battery bank, so you don't have to worry about losing power unexpectedly when you plug in, unplug, or move campsites. There's no need to flip switches or rewire anything. Your setup stays powered and protected the entire time. It's a simple, seamless way to keep your things running and one less thing to think about.

Mobile Control Lets You Keep Tabs Anywhere

Once you've found your place to stay, the less you have to guess about your setup, the better. Instead of wondering if your inverter is running smoothly, or worse, finding out when something shuts down, the Go Power Connect app puts real-time system alerts and fault warnings right on your phone. If a problem comes up, you'll know about it before it turns into a bigger headache. Plus, you can check battery levels and power usage (and even more) at a glance, so you can plan your day with clear, simple updates you can trust.

Installs Near Your Battery Bank

This inverter is built for RV installation but takes up a bit more space than smaller inverters, so you'll want a well-ventilated compartment near your battery bank with plenty of room for airflow. Just make sure to leave about four inches of space around the vents to keep the system running cool. Installation does require hardwiring into your electrical system, so it's a good idea to review the manual carefully and make sure you're comfortable with the process. If not, you may want to work with a trusted RV technician.

Built for RV Life and Certified for Peace of Mind

When you're tying into your RV's electrical system, safety isn't optional. It's essential. The ASW 3000 is fully UL certified, meaning it meets the electrical standards RV owners and mobile techs trust for safe, reliable operation. It's also designed with the future in mind, using built-in RV-C communication to work seamlessly with other PowerTrak compatible products. That gives you a smarter, easier-to-manage power system that's ready for whatever upgrades you've been eyeing.

We haven't got to camp with the trailer yet but I did use it to run the fridge over night and had no problems. Install was also an easy swap from an older go power inverter. Using it to power a 20 cu ft residential fridge.

  • Off-Grid Inverter Options - Comparing 1,800W To 3,000W
Paul, for light use laptops, TV, maybe a coffee maker the 1,800W # GP94XR will be plenty and save you money. The 3,000W models mainly benefit folks who want to run heavier loads microwaves, multiple outlets, maybe an A/C for awhile depending on your battery bank capacity. If you don’t need that, no harm in keeping it simple. If you decide to go with the bigger model, the # GP44XR is 3,000w and is 30A, while the # GP85QR is 50A and doubles as a charger as well. What’s your heaviest appliance...

  • Can GoPower PowerTrak Inverter Be Installed In Same Compartment As Lithium Batteries?
Good question, Dan. Even with sealed lithiums, Go Power recommends not installing the inverter in the same compartment. Inverters generate heat, and in rare fault conditions, lithiums can vent, so it’s just safer to give them separate airflow. Mount the inverter nearby, within 5–6 feet if you can, so you don’t need oversized DC cables. Have you measured how much space you’ve got in the pass-through? And do you know which model you need? I see you were looking at the 30A 1,800 watt #...

  • What is the difference between GP44XR 3k Watt Inverter and GP85QR 3,000W Inverter?
Sherry, you’re right they both deliver 3,000 watts pure sine, but they’re meant for different rigs. The # GP44XR is a straight inverter - DC in, AC out - on one 30A leg, perfect for travel trailers or smaller Class Cs. The # GP85QR is an inverter/charger/transfer switch combo with dual legs, so it can handle 3000w of 50A hookup for your coach and replace your converter/charger in one shot if you also need to charge your batteries. Do you know if your RV is wired for 30A or 50A service?...

  • Do All Go Power PowerTrak Inverters Work With Go Power Solar Controllers And Lithium Batteries?
Kent, all of the new PowerTrak inverters, such as # GP94XR, # GP44XR, and # GP85QR, are PowerTrak compatible, which means they speak RV-C language and integrate with Go Power’s lithium batteries and controllers. The # GP85QR just goes a step further by also handling charging, so it “talks” to the batteries both ways. Keep in mind, you don't specifically need the Go Power brand, as other branded solar kits and batteries work fine with these inverters, you just wouldn't have the whole Go...

  • How Much Clearance Does Go Power Inverter Need For Cooling In Tight Space? Grand Design RV
Steve, for the # GP44XR (along with other models like the # GP85QR and # GP94XR) you’ll want at least 4" of open space on all sides, especially around the fan vents. These units can move a lot of air under load. Mounting it in a ventilated compartment is key. If you’re tight on space, a small louvered vent panel in the compartment wall can make a huge difference and make the unit last a lot longer instead of getting too hot all the time. How much open space do you have available right now?

  • Do I Need Multiplex Wiring Or PowerTrak System To Use Go Power PowerTrak Inverter On RV?
Yes Jeff, you don’t need an RV-C coach to benefit, or have the PowerTrak system from Go Power. All the PowerTrak inverters, including the # GP44XR, broadcast data via Bluetooth to your phone. The Go Power Connect app lets you see real-time battery voltage, wattage load, and even error codes from your phone. It’s a big upgrade over the old “blinking light” style monitors. Do you usually keep an eye on power from inside the rig, or would you use the app on the go?

  • Can Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter 3,000W Power 13.5k BTU AC Unit With 4 100ah Lithium Batteries?
Michael, technically the inverter # GP44XR has the wattage of 3,000 continuous, but A/C units are the hardest load for batteries. A 13.5k BTU pulls about 1,500 watts when running, but surges much higher at startup unless it has a soft start installed. Your four 100Ah lithiums might get it going, but expect very short runtime before depletion. Most folks still use a generator for A/C and let the inverter handle everything else. But if you had 4 of the 200ah instead of 100ah, you'd get a...

  • What Gauge Wire Kit To Install Go Power 3,000W Inverter GP44XR Or GP85QR ?
Sam, for a 3,000W inverter like # GP44XR or # GP85QR, you’ll want 2/0 or 4/0 AWG depending on the length of the run. Keep it under 10 feet if you can, since voltage is your enemy here. Go Power sells install kits that include the right fuse and cabling # 342GPDCKIT5. How far is your battery bank from where you plan to mount the inverter?

  • Does Go Power PowerTrak Pure Sine Wave Inverters Have Bluetooth Or App Monitoring?
Laura, yes, Go Power added app monitoring to the new inverters like 1,800w 30A # GP94XR, 3,000w 30A # GP44XR, and 3000w 50A # GP85QR. Once it’s wired in, you can pull up real-time battery voltage, load levels, and error codes on your phone. It’s a nice upgrade compared to older inverters that only had LED status lights. Do you prefer monitoring from inside your rig, or would you use the phone app on the go?

  • Can PowerTrak 3,000 Watt Inverter Be Used With AGM Batteries In RV?
Jorge, you’re good either way. The # GP44XR doesn’t do any charging, it simply pulls Direct Current from your battery bank and makes Alternating Current, so it doesn’t care if you’re running AGM, flooded, or lithium. The only thing to check is whether your converter/charger is set for the right chemistry. If you need one of those, let me know! Are you planning to keep the AGMs for a while, or do you see lithium in your near future? A lot of folks like the lithium upgrade since they have...

  • 2021 Winnebago Minnie 30A Pure Sine Wave Inverter For Laptop And Microwave When Off-Grid
Chris, the # GP94XR is a solid fit for 30-amp rigs like your Minnie. At 1,800 watts continuous, it’ll handle a laptop and small kitchen appliances, but a microwave will often surge closer to 1,350-1400W. That means you’d want to run the microwave alone, then your laptop and smaller loads can be plugged back in when the microwave is turned off. If you want, you can go up to the 3,000w model so you don't have to worry about it # GP44XR. Since the inverter has a built-in transfer switch,...

  • Will PowerTrak 3,000W Dual Leg Inverter Charger Power A 2016 Tiffin Allegro 50A?
Yes, Marsha, that’s exactly what the # GP85QR is built for. Unlike the single-leg 30A # GP44XR, this one outputs on both legs, so it ties directly into a 50A distribution panel and supplies up to 3,000 W (not going to power the entire AC system of cours). Plus, it doubles as a charger - up to 125 amps with multi-stage charging for lithium or AGM. That’s why most folks with larger Class A’s or fifth wheels go this route, and it's what I recommend. Now that said, it does come down to how...

  • Which GoPower Pure Sine Wave Inverter Is Best For 2022 Keystone Cougar With 30A Setup?
Alan, the # GP44XR gives you 3,000 watts continuous, so you can run a microwave and coffee maker back-to-back, or even power multiple outlets at once without watching the load so closely. Both models are single leg 30A, so they match your Cougar’s 30A panel. The # GP94XR could work, but I'd just spend a little more and get the higher rated model. Do you think you’ll want to run multiple appliances at the same time?
