Sitting down at your RV dinette shouldn't mean working under a dull ceiling dome. This matte black hex-frame ceiling light uses a 1-bulb configuration for direct illumination, with a 12" height and 11" width for tighter installations.
A basic round ceiling light can look out of place when the rest of the interior has sharper lines and darker trim. This fixture uses a matte black geometric hex-frame design, so you get an open-frame shape instead of a plain dome. The dinette area keeps a cleaner, more structured look overhead.
When you're eating or working at the dinette, you want light pointed at the table instead of spread thin across the ceiling. This light uses a 1-bulb configuration for direct illumination, so the output stays focused where you're sitting. You get straightforward overhead light without a multi-bulb layout to manage.
In a smaller RV interior, the dinette light has to sit where it belongs without taking over the room. This is a ceiling-mounted light suitable for RV dinette use, so it's meant for that overhead spot above the table. The light stays centered on the dinette area so the space stays functional.
Ceiling layouts can get crowded fast near cabinets, vents, and trim. This fixture measures 12" tall and 11" wide, so you can map out the footprint before you mount it. You can confirm the light fits your ceiling plan instead of guessing once it's up.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Gustafson Hex Dinette Light. As you can see, it's a nice matte black geometric hex frame fixture design. Pretty neat. And zooming in, you can see a little bit better.
I'll get outta the way. And it is a very nice 12 volt powered light. And as you can see, you got a little built-in switch here. Very easy to operate. Now, for some reason, you wanna put this higher than what you can reach, you could obviously just wireless this to a switch.
Keep that on and you would just use your wall switch to toggle it on and off as well. It is a ceiling mounted light suitable for RV dinette use. And I got approximately from the very, very bottom tip here where it dips down to the top of the mounting plate, I got 10 and three-quarter inches tall and 11 inches wide at the widest two corners here. And as again, you can see very nice 12 volt bulb, LED. Puts off a lot of light.
And as you can see on the table, now, this is only a couple feet off my table and it's about six feet back from the camera. It does give you a nice geometric shape as well. And bringing it up a little taller, you can see it does put off a pretty decent amount of light. Now keep in mind, this is for RV use and those kind of things. So if you've been used to that kind of lighting, this is actually probably a little brighter than what you're used to in my opinion.
So again, very, very nice simple design. It's a metallic construction with a nice black powder coat finish, and it does have a little texture to it as far as the finish. So it's kind of nice as far as that goes as well. And if you have any other questions about this or any other product we carry, reach out to us here at etrailer.
