You're worried about your fifth wheel toy hauler getting wet and dirty in storage before your next trip. Whether you're storing your fifth wheel in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your fifth wheel will be protected. When you keep your fifth wheel covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your fifth wheel in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.
The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your fifth wheel over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your fifth wheel. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your fifth wheel from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.
How to Measure Your Fifth-Wheel Toy Hauler
To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your fifth wheel from the very front to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. The cover isn't meant to fit over the kingpin of your fifth wheel, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of your fifth wheel to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.
Securing the Cover onto Your Fifth-Wheel Toy Hauler
The included ladder cap and rain gutter covers help prevent the cover from splitting on those areas of the fifth wheel so install those first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your fifth wheel, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.
Wrap the elasticized hem around the bottom corners of your fifth wheel and pull on the cinch ropes on the front and rear of the cover. These remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your fifth wheel is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your fifth wheel to the other side and buckle them together, which keep the cover secure on your fifth wheel and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.
And if you still need to winterize or if you need to access one of the cargo compartments, you can use the zippered panels on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your fifth wheel without having to completely remove the cover. You can also unzip the entire panel on the back so you can load and unload gear into your fifth wheel.

Hello, everybody. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our SFS Aqua Shed RV cover for your fifth wheel toy haulers that are up to 28 feet long. Now again, folks, this is gonna fit 25 feet 7 inches up to 28 feet long. So you have about three feet or less there, give or take. Now the overall dimension is 28.5 feet long, nine feet wide, ten and a half feet tall.
And to determine if this guy's gonna work for you, you need to measure the overall length of your fifth wheel from the very front to the rear bumper, making sure you're counting those spare tires and ladders. Now, the one thing you're not gonna count is that front kingpin. So this is not meant to cover the kingpin. It's gonna go right over the top and kind of tuck up underneath. So don't worry about the kingpin in that measurement.
Now, the height you'll measure from the bottom of the camper deck, not the ground, up to the top of the roof point, not including ACs, vents, antennas, those kind of things. 'Cause the cover has a little bit of give in it up top just to cover those things already. Now, what this looks like installed is something pretty much like the image on your screen. As you can see, you got zipper panels on the rear and passenger side, giving you easy access to the inside of the fifth wheel wides and storage. And like I said, you can see in the front there how it kind of tucks around the kingpin up underneath.
Now this will shield your fifth wheel from rain and snow, leaves, et cetera, during short term storage and lessen the need for frequent washing, waxing and roof treatments. It could potentially extend the life of the fifth wheel and help maintain the resale value as well. Now, coming outta the box, it's gonna look something like this, this is a stock photo. Your colors could slightly vary from this. You've got the main bag, the main cover, another little storage bag, four ladder cap/ring gutter covers, and three patches, different shades, to match up and cover any kind of those kind of issues that you may come into in the future.
Now this is a weather resistant three ply SFS Aqua Shed and eliminates the interior buildup of mold and mildew, but it also blocks mild sunlight that could cause cracking and fading. Now whenever you zoom in here, this will let water beat up on contact, this fabric here. And as you can see, maybe you can see some white through those holes in the background. My wall behind this is white, so it's breathable fabric. It's got a little bit of holes and stuff in there made on purpose so it can dry out and stuff after rain falls and whatnot. It's a triple ply polypropylene and it's gonna prevent the fifth wheel from getting dirty, stained, and scratched. Now the design here is what they call a contemporary look or a gray sidewall. Its reinforced elastic hems stretch over the corners of the fifth wheel for a nice snug look, and they've got extra enforcement there to prevent holes, rips, those kind of things. It comes with integrated straps to come down the sides around and under the bottom to prevent it from flapping in the wind. And you get a couple of weighted straps as well. These guys are typically the ones that go on the underbelly underside of the toy hauler, the fifth wheel camper. And you're gonna get, again, ladder cap and rain gutter covers. So these are very important. They're kinda like a pool noodle construction. You'll push it right over the top of those rain gutter covers to prevent sharp points from hitting the fabric and potentially tearing it. You're gonna get a cinch bag storage bag. So it's got a draw string here, pull that tight, tie it or whatever to hold it in place. I'm 6' 2". As you can see, a very large storage bag. So that kind of gives you an idea of how big this cover really is. So keep in mind you're wanting an extra set of hands to help you install, uninstall, and get it back in that storage bag. Now again, we talked about the zipper panels, the breathable vents to reduce interior mold and mildew buildup, the covers and everything, the storage bag, so again, folks, that's probably gonna wrap it up for our look at this 28 feet long ADCO RV cover for your fifth wheel toy haulers. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
