Upgrade your RV's AC with this low-profile unit from Advent Air. New R32 refrigerant meets 2025 EPA regulations. Not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier.

Notes:
Because your RV is likely already prepped and pre-wired for an AC unit, installation is simple. Most AC units are designed to fit an opening that measures 14-1/4" x 14-1/4". Depending on your roof setup, you may need to do minimal alterations. If the opening is larger than 14-3/8" x 14-3/8", you will need to install spacers between the sides of the unit and the opening's edges. If the opening is smaller than 14-1/8" x 14-1/8", you will need to enlarge the hole to fit the unit snugly inside the opening.
On the bottom of the AC, there's a thick, collapsible gasket with 6 noise-reducing foam pads. This provides support between the RV roof and AC and seals the opening to prevent water and outside air from leaking in. Because of this, the use of fresh sealant isn't needed. Once installed, the hard plastic cover on the AC can easily be removed for maintenance and cleaning.
In order to fully complete installation, this AC needs to be paired with a 2025 or newer Advent Air air distribution box and thermostat.
Additional accessories can be purchased separately to improve the performance of your Advent Air AC unit. The start capacitor (ACMSCKIT) improves the performance of your AC by using stored energy to jumpstart it. And the electric heat strip (ADV34QR) removes the chill on cold or frosty mornings in your RV, ensuring you stay comfortable. Please note that the heat strip will only work on Advent Air AC units.
2-Year limited warranty covers defective units when installed correctly on approved applications. The warranty does not cover units installed incorrectly. To ensure air conditioner is installed correctly, please see the questionnaire pdf below. A filled-out questionnaire is required for warranty coverage.
If you are not comfortable using a voltmeter (or removing the charge from the start capacitor), you'll want to make a service appointment with your local RV dealer to verify the installation. Print the pdfs below (warranty- questionnaire, warranty dealer information) and take them along with the RV to your local dealer. ASA does compensate dealers for warranty work as outlined in the dealer information pdf. You may be charged by the dealer for time spent investigating the installation.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Advent Air 13,500 BTU, black, low-profile RV air conditioner. Now, this is just going to be for the air conditioner. This does not include a system or hardware, but this AC is going to give you 13,500 BTU of cooling power that's going to be suitable for a medium to large travel trailer and class C RVs. The sleek, low-profile design not only is going to enhance the look of your RV, but it's also going to ensure efficient cooling without the bulk. And this is going to be perfect if you like a streamlined, stylish exterior with maintaining ultimate comfort with this air conditioner.
So let's talk measurements. Looking at the overall length, from end to end, we're sitting right at about 31 3/16 inches long. The overall width, about 24 7/8 inches wide. And then, the overall height, again, this is a low-profile unit, so this is sitting at about 10 1/8 inches tall, so several inches shorter than your standard profile AC. This is a little under 70 pounds and it's going to fit roofs from 2 1/2 inches to 5 inches thick, and it's going to work with an opening size of 14 1/4 inches long by 14 1/4 inches wide.
So in order to fully complete this installation, if you don't already have it, this AC will need to be paired with a 2025 or newer Advent Air air distribution box and thermostat. This is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner systems from 2024 and earlier, due to the new R32 refrigerant that is inside of this unit that's going to meet the 2025 EPA regulations, just so you're aware of that. So whether your setup is ducted or ductless, this flexible system is going to seamlessly integrate with both of those ducted or ductless systems, giving you a hassle-free upgrade. So one of the unsung heroes of a comfortable RV trip is going to be that quiet environment. And so, this Advent Air's condensation dispersion system does play a crucial role in that.
By managing moisture efficiently, this system is going to minimize water runoff, so that's gonna reduce potential noise outside your vehicle. This means more peaceful parking at the campgrounds and serene travels down the highway, letting you focus on your journey. This does have a durable, (knuckles knocking) black, hard plastic cover that's going to shield the internal components from water and debris. If you notice here, we do have Philips-head screws here, so this is gonna be very easy to loosen these screws and remove them. So you can remove the cover, in case you need to do any maintenance or you wanna clean it out.
And so, this does also feature a thick collapsible gasket with noise-reducing foam pads. And you can see one of those foam pads right here. (hand tapping) All that's going to ensure that this fits snugly into the RV roof, giving you support and sealing the opening to prevent leaks. I do wanna point out that we do have our wiring harness here that I'm just going to pull down from the opening here. So this is what will connect. You'll drop this down to connect this. So that's what the plug is going to look like. So you might need to do some minor adjustments, depending on your RV setup. But all in all, this is going to be a relatively easy setup. And due to the thoughtful design elements that this gives you, it's gonna make that process smoother, ensuring that your air conditioner is going to be ready to deliver comfort on your travels. Now, you are going to be able to extend the comfortable use of this air conditioner unit with items such as the electric heat strip. That's gonna be perfect for those mild or crisp mornings. So that's gonna add versatility, especially if you enjoy RVing year-round. That heat strip is just gonna be enough to take the chill off the air in the morning. And then, you could also add a start capacitor to this for improved performance, making your RV adventures even more enjoyable. So if you're interested in those items, I am including the item numbers there on your screen. You can take those items and pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to those items and you can add them to your order, if you so desire. Something else I wanted to mention is this is obviously in black, but we do also offer the same unit in white, and I'm including the item number there. And again, this is the 13,500 BTU, but maybe you wanna kick it up to 15,000. We do have that available here at etrailer.com as well. So I'm giving you those options there on your screen. So again, this is gonna be a bolt-on installation. It does not include hardware. Typically, those bolts will come with the air distribution box that you get for this that'll work for your particular application. But if there's any other questions that you have that I didn't cover with you today, don't hesitate to give us a call. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
