Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our rail kit for your Thule Caprock Platform Racks. Now folks, this perimeter rail kit, just like the image here, will let you add solid barriers on your Thule Caprock Platform. Now obviously that Caprock Platform is sold separately. Specifically the size S or small, 52 and three eights long by 59 inch wide is what this kit fits. You're gonna get four perimeter rails that are gonna be two side rails and two front and two rails.
Now this module design allows these rails to be individually installed anywhere on the platform and then create a custom setup so that you can carry an awning, rooftop tent, other large gear and things. And the side channels here also offer a nice additional tie-on point like eye bolts and those kind of things. And they install very easily on top of the channels of that platform with the included hardware. And again, you get all the hardware here, all these threaded square nuts or lock stops, whatever you wanna call them, the bolts. These are all the plastic end caps for the ends of the bars.
Just a quick side view of one of these bars. And the bottom view. And again, these caps here on the table will simply press into that end. So it's all lightweight aluminum, they are durable and resistant to corrosion. They have a nice black powder coat finish on them.
