Hello, this is Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Pro Water Tank with the mounting system for your Front Runner platform racks. Now this water tank is 11.1 gallons capacity. It's very rigid. It's gonna let you transport and dispense your drinking water for your overland adventure or just your simple camping needs. It is made to secure, like I mentioned before, to your Front Runner platform rack.
It is food grade safe polyurethane. It's very tough, long lasting. It's BPA free and it comes with a 1/2 inch BSP fitting, so you can add a tap or a hose or something like that. You could also take this off the top of your roof rack. You could set it on top of a tabletop or something when you get to the campsite or maybe a picnic table when you're out with the family.
And if you had that dispenser in here on that front part there, then you can drink water nice and easily. It does have a nice stainless steel latch. This is spring loaded here, so this little guy here can push up or down. You cannot open it unless you push that spring down and then that allows you to open it and it snaps back in place when it's latched. It does come with the mounting brackets and a bunch of hardware to mount it.
It also comes with the instructions. Overall, the width of this, or the length rather, is 18 1/2 inches from side to side. There's a lot of bulges and push-outs here, so we're trying to get some very rough estimates. It's about 12 5/8 inches wide side to side, and overall it's about 14 3/8 inches tall. Now it does come with the mounting strap, which is metal.
Once you get it mounted on your vehicle, (strap grinds) this will come over. It does cover the cap, so that's gonna deter water theft. So that's a nice little feature there that I like. And like I was saying, overall, just a really good product. All the heavy metal (tank thumps) on the strap to keep it secure and safe. It's light weight. It's about 8.1 pounds empty.
