Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our custom RX2FK Fit Kit for the Rhino-Rack RX200 Roof Rack Legs with Flush Rails. So folks, this is designed for basically those Mitsubishi Outlanders with flush rails, make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right ones for your specific year, make and model. Now folks, these let you mount a four Rhino-Rack RX200 Series leg kit, sold separately, onto the vehicle's flush rails. So these molded pads and steel clamps are going to have rubber coating, they're going to protect your rails and the vehicle roof line from scratches, abrasions and these clamps attach to the legs and secure the legs to the rails using bolts from the leg. So again, no bolts here, this is simply the kit to match up with that RX200 leg kit.
Now when you get this kit, the first thing you're gonna notice is they have stamped in the rubber this one says RL for rear left, this one says FR for front right and I don't know if you can see that the molding, but it's in there. So just because these look the same, some are a little thicker, the curves are side specific so that's the first thing you need to check, other than the instructions again. And then even these clamps sometimes can be different numbers. On this particular kit, they all look like they're exactly the same and then the same with these other ones, they're the same. So these four are your main ones, again check the instructions, make sure you have the complete kit.
If you need help picking out the right kit for your vehicle, reach out to us and also once you get this installed, would love to see some photos maybe of it installed and give us your feedback on how you're liking the product. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Ratings & Reviews
The item is excellent quality, but was a fit kit for different roof rack towers, and was for a different vehicle. To be fair, my application was for a 10 yr old product to fit a new car. Not sure that there is a proper fit kit for my application but it was worth trying
So I took a risk and it worked out. I purchased a 2025 Kia Sorento, but could not find compatible components for my rhino pioneer rack to Kia Sorento specific flush rails, they just don’t exist, except only in configurations I did not want. So I took a gamble on a sportage/santa fe fit kit. The rails looked identical and Hyundai and Kia are basically the same company. Well, they fit!!!
Not sure how much better a Kia Sorento fit kit can get but it’s snug, already carried my mountain bike, and next is a kayak test. Kayak tbd, I’ll update if possible when tested
