How to Use Older Thule Square Bars with 2017 Toyota Highlander with Naked Roof
Hey John, I do have a solution for you but the Thule square bar roof racks changed a few years ago and now their current feet don't work with the older style of crossbar. The new crossbar has a channel that runs along the bottom of it whereas old style did not have this. But we have found is that the Inno square bars are exact same dimensions so you can use their feet and fit kit with the bars you have now. I agree it can be a bit overwhelming and confusing to pick out crossbars for your vehicle if you're not familiar with what you need, but I'm here to help. If you have raised rails then I'd recommend going with the Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB130-138, with the Inno Through Feet for Aero Crossbars # INXS350 and the fit kit # INTR153.
