I am not sure when I got the trunk rack initially, but it had held up very well over Many years. When, in response to a speed-bump, 3 of the 6 straps tore, I thought I would need to replace the whole rack. I looked on line, and found that I could replace straps. It would appear that over the years, there has been some design changes in how the binding attached to the rack, but I have been able to restore it to full fuction.

I went to the right place to get my strap for my bike rack...it is great..it's perfect and at a great price..i can't believe the number of stores I went to and couldn't find these straps....Bike stores were too expensive...went on line..saw etrailer.com and was easy to find!!

it's great, the old ones were starting to fall apart, so the new ones gave the bike rack some newness to keep it going.

Ive been using two of these straps to keep our bike rack from shaking on the trailer hitch, and they work perfectly. There is no more wobbling of the rack when going over speed bumps, or other bumps in the road. And they fit easily over the back door of the car. They were a good price, as well. :-
