Features to know about

Heat and Cooking in One Setup

Cold conditions force you to split between a heat source and a separate cooking area, which means stepping away from warmth to prep food. This unit combines 48,000 Btu heat output with a cooking pedestal that supports large pans directly above the heat source. You stay in one place while cooking and heating at the same time, so you are not moving back and forth between separate setups.

Raised Cooking Height with Adjustable Legs

Cooking low to the ground puts heat at your feet and forces you to crouch while working over the pan. The adjustable tripod legs raise the cooking surface from 29" to 39", putting the skillet at a standing height. You work at a natural position while the heat stays where you need it, so you are not bent over or repositioning constantly.

All-Around Heat Coverage

Directional heaters leave one side warm while the rest of your setup stays cold. This unit outputs 360-degree heat around the burner, spreading warmth evenly instead of focusing it in one direction. You get consistent heat coverage around the cooking area, so you are not shifting position to stay warm.

Quick Hose Connection and Ignition

Complicated propane setups slow you down and create confusion around fittings and tools. The toolless regulator hose uses a QuickClick connection, and the built-in ignition system starts the unit without external tools. You connect and light it without extra steps, so setup does not delay cooking or heating.

Compact Storage with Integrated Components

Bulky gear takes up space and separates into loose parts that are easy to misplace. The heater stove collapses into a compact form, and the fold-flat legs keep components together as a single unit when stored. You pack everything down into a smaller footprint, so transport and storage stay manageable without tracking separate pieces.

Video Transcript for Review of Ignik Portable Grills and Fire Pits - Propane Heater and Stove - GN92MR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at the Ignik Skullet. It's a portable propane heater and stove with included stand and skillet cooktop. So folks, when you're camping in colder weather, you usually end up packing two different things, right A heater and a stove for cooking meals on. So this will help save you space and time because it's a two-in-one heater/cooktop, and it's designed to give you both warmth and cooking capability from one simple setup.

So again, you're gonna simplify your camping gear, packing gear, and make this a really quick, easy trip. So as you can see, the legs are fully extended. It comes up a little bit higher than my waist, and you do get a nice regulator with hose included, and it's a quick-connect hose. You are also gonna get a couple other things. You're gonna get this propane tank stand, and it folds up nice and small.

And this would basically just sit on the ground or on maybe a tabletop somewhere. And then you put your propane tank on this. (stand clatters) And then you're gonna also get this nice carrying handle that's gonna be used whenever we're not cooking and for the heater, and I'll show you that here in a second. So zooming in, this is gonna produce up to 48,000 BTUs of radiant heat, and it's gonna create a full 360-degree heat zone that can work great for those campsites, tailgate, overlanding, and whatnot. And right now I have it in the extended-use setting, so we can simply push in and twist, and then we're gonna get our click there to ignite.

So it's got the built-in igniter. And then, of course, I mentioned about this handle over here. This is a safety handle here for carrying it whenever it's hot. If I need to move it to another location, I can simply thread this in. There we go.

And then once I get it threaded in, now I can pick this up, I can move it, it's portable, I can spin it around. You can see the quick-connect here with the propane connection that comes with it. Simply pull it, push it in place, and then we're good to go. Of course, it's not gonna go there whenever it's in the air. There we go. So now I've got it in place. I can again spin it around if I'm carrying it safely, and I'm not gonna hurt myself or other people with this handle. So very nice option. Whenever you do, switch over to the heater like it is now. You want to keep these down. That way, heat can come out. And then you want this open when you're using it as a cooktop because down inside of here is the burner for the flame, and that's gonna work with the included cast-iron skillet here. And that has a nice little dip in it or a lip here, if you will, for pouring. And then the handles fold up. So whenever you're not using it for storage, you can pull those handles up nice and flat on the back, and then when you're using it, it just goes right on top. And let me tell you, folks, I've seen these in action. The flame is really, really impressive. This gets super hot. It's gonna be more than enough heat there to both radiate and cook on. So make sure you're being careful, as always, and you wanna let this cool down fully before you try to put it away and store it as well. So keep that in mind as well. These things do get hot very, very quickly. Now, we talked about all the different features. The last thing that we haven't talked about yet is the stand. The stand does come off. It has a little twist nut on the very bottom. I can twist that down. The legs come down all the way, fully enclosed down to 18 inches. So that means whenever it's time to store it up, that leg, that tripod, can fold up into a nice rectangular shape, easy to store, quick to deploy. And then I have integrations on the legs that also give me measurements. And I can match up each side. If I wanna match 'em up, I can close it up. The feet are nice and rubber, so I can use that for stability and grip. And if I was on an uneven surface, I can make one a little bit shorter or taller than the other one, you know, to keep it level. Now to put it away or to take it out, you've got three of these spring-loaded little lockouts, well, on each quarter. And all I gotta simply do is push them in, and I can push it down. (metal clatters) And now it's in the closed position. You never want to heat it like this. You never want to cook like this. So make sure that you're opening these up, you're holding the stand to help pull it up. And you can use the handle, obviously, and then you want it to fully lock out and hear it click on all three sides. Now folks, once you start using it, honestly, you're probably gonna use this more than just a heater. Again, you're gonna be cooking with it, but it's probably gonna become the center of your campsite where people want to gather, have fun, cook, stay warm, all in one place. So again, if you're looking for a small, compact, multi-function outdoor system that can also cook and heat, the Ignik portable propane heater stove is gonna be a great option for you, in my opinion. So check it out today here at etrailer. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching, and have a good one.
