Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Romik RAL-B Running Boards. Now these will be great if you are just looking for something super simple that's not gonna stand out too much, just is moreso intended on letting you get in your vehicle safely. So let's check it out. Now, there's a lot of unique scenarios on why someone might wanna go with some running boards, but we'd love to hear how this has helped you out in either a comment or review, if you do decide to go with them. So today I'm mainly gonna be talking about who these are gonna be for, and then I'll talk about the things that are gonna stand out about them.

So this is gonna be for someone who's looking for something that's just isn't gonna stand out and just be a simple design because you don't need it to be anything more than that. Just something to assist you when you're getting inside your vehicle. And speaking of that, this is gonna do a really good job at that. The first thing that really stands out to me about it are gonna be these little rubber squares on top of here. This is gonna help give you more traction when you're getting in and out of your vehicle, especially in those more wet scenarios.

So let's say there's a lot of rain, water, ice, mud, whatever it be, you'll be less likely to have slipping. Now there are other running boards that do a really good job at giving you traction. Now, typically with those, those are gonna be ones with the more grated designs and those are gonna stand out a little bit more, just be more rugged and aggressive. And on top of that, they're gonna be more abrasive. So if you we inchesre to trip, you could kinda hurt yourself on here, especially if you have kids getting in and out.

And, speaking of this, they even take it a step further. This is gonna be more of a rounded design here in the edges, so if you're walking by, you hit your shin on here, it's gonna be less likely of hurting as much. And what's nice about having this more simple style or design is it's gonna work with a wide variety of vehicles and situations. Because, with this design, this is gonna be made of aluminum, so it's gonna be very lightweight, and it's gonna be more rust-resistant. So even if you're in a climate that gets a lot of snow, ice, and water, it's gonna be less likely to have rusting over time, making sure it looks good and it works well.

Another thing to that is the design of it. So this is gonna be a fairly long design, it's all gonna be one piece, and that's the way I prefer my running boards. Because if you get the ones that come in two pieces, if you don't line those up perfectly, sometimes they don't help you that much, or at all. And what's nice about this, too, is they're gonna sit more recessed to your vehicle. So if you're looking for something not to stand out or be the first thing people look at on your vehicle, these are great. And a common question that comes along with that is, "Am I gonna have enough room to really put my foot on here" And I say, in most cases, you are, even with my door shut. The way these are designed are typically to sit a little bit lower to the ground. So, one, it's easier to step on, but, two, it is gonna give you that space to place your foot. But other than that, that's pretty much it. If you're looking for something simple to get you in and out of your vehicle safely, then this is gonna be the one to go with.
