Hello neighbors, it'sBrad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the line of DeeZee NXt running boards. Now this is going to besomething you're gonna wanna put in the vehicle fit guidehere on etrailer.com, and that way you're gettingthe custom fit to your vehicle. And really it comes down to the fact that those brackets are going to be specifically for your vehicle to make it to a no drill installation, making the install quite a bit easier. Now adding running boards to your truck is kind of becoming a littlebit more of a popular trend, as trucks overall havegotten a little bit taller and a little bit more ground clearance. And also we're seeingthat there's a lot more quad cab and crew cab trucks, and it becomes the family hauler. So having two little ones myself, having a truck means thatthey're gonna have to really jump up to get in, and with the running boards itmakes it a little bit easier for them to be able to getthat step sure-footedly and get in the truck.
(car door closing) No matter what customvehicle bracket you get for your specific vehicle, the running boards aregonna be six inches wide and gonna have these rubbergrommets along the way to give you that no-slipas you step in the vehicle. So you get a sure foot as you get up, and it's gonna be great forespecially those little ones or maybe people that have a hard time hopping up into the vehicle. Now on both ends, it hasa nice tapered finish here so it gives it a really good look and it's not sticking down too much so you don't have to worry thatmuch about ground clearance. And it sits, I think,in a really good spot against the truck to where you still have enough grip to be able to step on there, but also it's not gonna stick out too much looking kind of odd on the vehicle. This is also gonna be availablein two different colors to kind of custom match towhat you want for your vehicle.
Here we have the all black, and you can also get it witha chrome outside piece here. So it's gonna look, youknow, however you want. It gives it a nice clean look though because it is pretty streamlined. It's nice and thin, and it'salso close to the vehicle, giving it a good look. Now these are gonna be made of aluminum, and the brackets actuallyhave a powder coat finish with their N R T technology, which stands for no rust technology, and that's just gonnacreate a nice barrier between the road grime and salt eating away at that long term.
And aluminum is gonna be rustproof, or at least it would takequite a bit for it to rust out. So these are gonna hold up onceyou have them on the truck, that they're gonna be solid forthe lifespan of the vehicle. So overall, adding running boards is gonna be a great optionto any truck or vehicle that has a pretty high groundclearance to get into the cab, and just make it easier for everyone to step in and have thatsure foot with that non-slip. The product is excellent and installation was without incident. The only issue encountered was the wrong directions were paxkee into the box with the right parts. Since this was drop shipped from DeeZee, etrailer wasn’t at fault.

Very easy install and looks great. Suggestion for regular and super-cab installs that don't use the middle bracket - remove end cap and remove one T-bolt in each channel and reinstall end cap.

I received the DeeZee NXT running Boards on Scheduled March 3, 2018. I install Right away into my 2018 Chevloret Colorado. Using ratchet wrench and a socket. it took me 10 minutes to install everything. Thanks etrailer.com

I recently had some body and paint work completed on my 2011 Ford F-150 regular cab. We installed these new Dee Zee NXT running boards that I ordered from etrailer.com. They look nice on the truck and seem to be well constructed.

Called customer support at DZ to get specifics on Deezee NXt nerf bars before ordering. Sounded like what I wanted so I bought them. When product arrived, installation instructions were close to worthless. Figured it out anyway, installed running boards and found they were NOT as described by Customer Support. Called DZ to explain that I was misled and inquire about returning them and was told I couldn't be returned because I had installed them. Wrote up a crappy review of the product and DZ service. Then, and only then, DZ relented and let me return them for a full refund. Odd that DZ would write me to ask for another review since the experience was disappointing.

Quality of the running boards is good. I quickly learned that the design needs improvement. You cannot use it properly. Not enough clearance between truck and running board. It forces you to turn foot parrellel to step on or off. I wear boots and steel toe shoes in size 12. My daughter hates them. If I could return them I probably would.
