Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Coleman-Mach Signature Series Mach 15 HP2 RV air conditioner with heat pump with this textured black shroud. Now, if you're looking for a climate control system that's gonna be able to handle a larger RV, this Coleman-Mach Signature Series Mach 15 HP2 is designed to give you both powerful cooling and supplemental heating in one rooftop unit. Its 15,000 BTU cooling capacity is going to help bring down the temperature quickly, and especially after your RV's been sitting in the sun for a while. So, this is gonna be a good choice for those larger travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motor homes. What sets this unit apart from a standard AC is the built-in heat pump.
So, instead of only cooling, this can actually help provide electric heat during cool mornings or mild-weather camping, helping to reduce the need to run your propane furnace. Heat pumps work most efficiently in moderate outdoor temperatures, making them ideal for spring and fall camping when you just need to take the chill out of the air. This unit features a medium-profile design that's going to give you strong airflow while keeping the rooftop height lower than many other fuller height models. Looking at the overall height, we're a little over 13 1/2" tall. The overall width, about 26" wide. And then, from front to back, the overall length is gonna be about 38".
Installation's gonna be pretty flexible because the unit can be used in either ducted or non-ducted RV AC systems. But to complete the installation, you will need compatible Coleman-Mach heat pump components, including the correct ceiling assembly, thermostat, and control package. All that is sold separately. What you're getting here is just the AC unit itself. And so, if you don't have the compatible components, you will need to pick that up as well.
