Today we'll be taking a quick look at the drain cock for Bulldog Winch air tank. Now, this is going to be a little spigot to help let water drain out of your air tank so it won't corrode out your tank, but it's also going to keep the air inside so you don't have to worry about letting all the air out of your tank whenever you release that water. As the air is compressed inside the tank, it can form condensation, so you need to drain that out. Whenever you put this in place, you want to make sure it's mounted to the lowest point on your tank so the water can fall out the bottom.It's going to help, again, prevent any kind of internal tank corrosion, and it has this little rubber seal ring, and that's what actually prevents the air from leaking out of the tank. inaudible 00:00:50 you thread this all the way in, you can see there's a little path for that water to flow down into that, and then come out of the bottom. It's made of solid brass, so we don't have to worry about this corroding out over time.

It has an NTP thread of a 1/4". As far as dimensions for the whole thing, it's about 1" long, and then about an 1 5/8" wide, going to the outer part of that handle there; really more about an 1 3/8".
