The counter-balance valve integrated into this hydraulic jack eliminates drift and retraction while your trailer is stationary. It's ideal for a seasonal trailer that may sit for awhile, and it makes a great upgrade. Left/curb-side leg only.

Hi, everybody. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at a hydraulic jack with integrated counterbalance valve. This is the left leg square two bolt-on, rated at 12,000 pounds capacity. Now folks, the hydraulic left or curbside jack leg works with your existing hydraulic setup. A hydraulic pump and power unit and a right/streetside leg would need to be used to complete a full kit, and those parts are sold separately.
If you don't have them, you can get them here at etrailer.com. Now, this works with units offering up to 3,200 PSI extension and 1500 PSI retraction pressures. Now, it has what's called an integrated counterbalance valve that's gonna eliminate dirt drift and or it's gonna eliminate drift and retraction. Now, it is great for seasonal trailers. It gives you a smooth and effortless operation even for super heavy loads.
Now, it has a large pivoting foot plate on the base as well. I've actually got that blocked up so it can't tilt just for my safety 'cause it's a very heavy jack. This can tilt this way and that way whenever it's facing the way I've got it now, I'm gonna leave them in there just for my safety again, since it's not held up. But it can tilt on the base, and that is a 10 inch by 10 inch square foot plate. It's a simple, easy bolt-on application.
As you can see, you got a bracket here and one on the bottom. Some quick dimensions of this bracket, right at seven and a half by four inches tall on the bracket. The jack itself is right about four and a half by four and a half inch square tube. And an overall height from the base of the jack up to the top when it's fully retracted, it's 34 and 7/8 inches tall. And if you fully extend it to its height, it can go up to 59 inches fully extended from the top to the base.
It has a lift capacity of 12,000 pounds and a support capacity of 15,000 pounds. So folks, this is the hydraulic jack with integrated counterbalance valve. Again, the left leg square two bolt-on rated 12,000 pounds. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. And as always, stay safe while you're towing.
Very poor package not all parts came with it savers and bolts all lose in box
It’s working real good
Item shipped super fast and was heavy built and was actually heavier built than oem jack. Thanks a lot for the great service.
Gets the job the done at a slower pace.
Great option for a heavy duty, easy to use jack. Was easy to customize to fit our application. Will be buying more of these for our customers.
This is our 4th one of these jacks, we put them on all our trailers and they work great.
The product itself is good this is my second Ram jack. Unfortunately like others I received the package severely damaged.
Love the jack, but, it came without a box. Only a piece of it was left. Some parts missing because box was non existent.
Very Good Product Works Very Well, The Guys at ETRAILER WERE VERY PROMPT AND PROFFESSIONAL. The Only Gripe I have is the Shipping package by the time it got to me the cardboard packaging was tour all to h***LL. I was worried that the fittings were broke off, But they were OK. Other than that COMPLETLY SATISFIED.
etrailer has great parts and even better service their staff is amazing!
The jack is great. The lightweight shipping box is a disaster. Thankfully the jack wasn’t destroyed when it arrived, only the cardboard box was torn into shreds and no instructions were to be found. Also, check e-trailer’s pricing. I watched the price change in the web site literally every time I looked it up, sometimes changing twice daily. There was a $[xx] price swing between when I bought it, and the dozens of times I checked price before purchasing.
Everything was exactly the way I wondered it Thanks
The jack shipped quickly, but the packaging was inadequate, leaving it vulnerable during transit. The main issue is the misleading claim about the counterbalance valve. It only prevents drift when extended, not during transit, which is a key safety concern. A proper counterbalance valve should lock in both directions. I plan to test it further and hope to make it work with modifications, but buyers should know the limitations upfront. For the low price, it’s worth trying to salvage.
