Hello everybody, this is [email protected]. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 15 foot long stick on, V-shape, rubber seal for RV's and enclosed trailers. I want to zoom in to show you what the seal looks like. This is a universal V shaped rubber seal and it's used to prevent water from leaking into the doors of your RV or enclosed trailer. Can be used for access doors, compartment doors, hatches and even storage compartments. This will protect your RV from extreme weather and pests.
That will seal itself. It's constructed of an EPDM sponge rubber so will not shrink crack or fade over time. And it is resistant to UV and ozone exposure. Now, unlike your standard foam seals this product will consist of a closed cell core surrounded by nice solid skin surface for greater weather and wear resistance. It is a peel and stick installation.
You can see it has a the pre-applied 3m adhesive backing on it. Basically just simply peel off that backing paper and then apply the seal. Now it does come with these two alcohol prep pads. That'll help you prepare the surface before you attach it down. Now, the seal also if you look real close features the skirted peel and stick, it's a recessed adhesive design.
Basically you see where the adhesive strip is. Well actually the seal itself will come down on both sides so it's sort of has a skirt on each side and this feature protects the adhesive tape from collecting moisture and debris, also giving a nice finished look when the seal is installed. Dimensions again on this is 15 feet in length. The width this way to this way is seven 16th of an inch. The height is five eighths of an inch tall and this part is made in the USA.
But that should do it for the review on the 15 foot long stick on V-shape rubber seal for RV's and enclosed trailers..
