Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Texas Tech University Chrome Logo Emblem 2" Hitch Cover

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Texas Tech 2 inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride, and it's going to add a clean, finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a nice black, powder coat finish, which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here at the front we're going to have a chrome-plated metal emblem. The unit is going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design. It's made right here in the USA.

Here on the back side it does come with this foam gasket. This is going to help reduce the rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. It's an officially licensed product. Now, to get this fully installed, it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separately. If you're in need of one, you can find them right here at etrailer.com.

The pinholes on the hitch cover will accept the standard five-eighth inch diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall width here at the front face is going to be about five inches wide. The overall height is going to be about three-and-a-half inches tall. If we take a measurement from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole, it's going to be pretty close to two-and-a-half inches. This is designed for a two inch by two inch hitch. It's a very simple installation.

Slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pinholes, and then install the hitch pin and clip or hitch lock until you get it secured in the receiver tube. That's going to do it for today's look at the Texas Tech two-inch hitch cover from AMG.
