Today we're going to be taken a look at the Oklahoma State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish, which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. We're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem here on the front. It's going to have a nice rust proof and fade proof design.
The product's made right here in the USA. Here on the backside it does have a foam gasket. This is really going to help reduce rattle in between the hitch cover and the hitch. It just slides over the shank just like that. The hitch cover to get it fully installed does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separately, but if you need one you can find them right here at etrailer.com.
The pinholes on the hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8th inch diameter pin. The hitch cover face is going to give us an overall width, looks to be about 5 inches, with an overall height of about 3-1/2 inches. The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole it's going to be pretty close to 2-1/2 inches. This is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Very simple installation process.; all you have to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, push it in until you get your pinholes lined up and then secure it with the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Oklahoma State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG. .

This cover is very sturdy and looks great....it was very economical and shipped to me quick. I gave it as a gift to one of my friends and he loved it. I would definitely use etrailer.com in the future!
Ordering and delivery process was easy and fast. Ordered on a Sat and received everything on Wed. The hitch didn't quite line up with the predrilled and tapped holes on the frame of my Nissan Frontier. I had to use a prybar and clamps to get the last two holes to line up. But once on it looks great.
Looks good. I only occasionally use the hitch, so it is on the car most of the time, which is why I purchased it. Arrived in a few days.
The pin must be purchased separately.

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

This was not checked for quality prior to shipping from the manufactor or the seller. My logo is off center at the bottomand over to the passenager side. Also my logo is crooked tilting up toward the passenager side. Tried calling customer service but the line has not been manned since I recieved this product. Overall a disappointing experience.

For the price I expected better quality. The powder coating seems to be okay. However, there are pits in the chrome plating of the USAF logo. The pits are not noticeable at a distance, so I didn't return it. Now, as an afterthought, I'm hoping it doesn't rust. Apparently there's not a standard distance to the pin hole in 2" receivers. I had to add 1/2 inch of gasket material in addition to the gasket provided to stabilize the cover in my receiver.

Terrible. I received it on Fri, drove up to Tahoe on Mon and hit the slopes on Tues. The logo fell off when I hit my hiking boot (light, day hiker type) against the cover to knock off some snow. I wasn't even wearing the boot, it was in my hand. I didn't even hit the logo itself, or bang it hard. The main receiver cover is otherwise well made and fits snugly.
