Today we're going to review the AMG Kansas chrome mascot emblem two inch hitch cover. Now, this hitch cover will allow you to display your KU pride on your vehicle with this two inch hitch cover. This cover will feature the legendary Jayhawk mascot in the chrome mounted on this black powder coated base. The emblem is rust proof and fade proof. It is an American made emblem. They also include with foam gasket as you can see here that slid on here.
This gasket is nice because when you install this into your hitch receiver, this gasket will help prevent any railing and it'll also help seal between your hitch receiver opening and this. This an officially licensed product. This hitch cover does require a pin and a clip for installation. We do sell those separately. They are listed on this product page as a related product. We list a hitch lock and even a pin and clip.
Just to give you an example, here's the pin and clip. This is part number PC3. If you already have a pin and clip for hitch lock, you can use that already. This application, again, is for two inch by two inch trailer hitches. To give you an idea of the size of this hitch face, we're going to measure the width and the height. The width from edge to edge is going to be right at five inches.
The height from the very bottom to the very top is going to be right at three and a half inches. That should do it for the review of the AMG Kansas chrome mascot emblem two inch hitch cover.

It took to long to get to us via mail and I wish the product had multiple holes giving us the option of adjusting it to fit the hitch receiver better.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

Love this hitch cover. It is exactly what I was looking for.
Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.
I love the emblem. Exactly as shown in the photos and the construction of this is solid.
My only problem is that the length of the tube does not allow me to use it when I have the anti-rattle collar installed. I have to remove the anti-rattle when not towing. I would love it if there was an option for a tube that is maybe 1 inch longer.

Works like it is supposed to. It is pretty loose in the 2 in. receiver so hopefully it doesn't rattle. Otherwise it looks very good on the vehicle.

Arrived quickly and just as described. I was impressed by the personalized attention from the etrailer staff - including a voicemail, in addition to the normal email, letting me know that it was on its way and offering any additional assistance I might need.
As some have mentioned, the fit is pretty tight when attempting to put in the pin. This is caused by the heavy gasket that seals the connection to the hitch holder. It takes some effort to push the cover in while driving in the pin (yes, with a mallet) but the result is a tight fit that doesn't rattle at all. I assume that once the gasket is broken in, the process will become easier.
Good quality hitch cover emblem but the hitch pin hole was drilled 3/8" off making the hitch cover extremely loose. Would have returned the item but all were probably drilled that way. The hitch cover is so loose that the cover shakes very badly when driving (I have heard) and looks like it is coming loose. I can fix this by drilling and welding but I would not buy another hitch cover emblem of this type. This hitch pin cover has the same looseness problem with my other truck and both my neighbors trucks.

A year later and hitch cover still looks great. I fixed the cover looseness without too much trouble. Have had comments on how nice the cover looks. Will buy another when the time comes.
