Features to know about

Take Your E-Bike Beyond the Neighborhood

Atlas PowerLift with Bikes Loaded on Vehicle

You didn't spend thousands of dollars on an e-bike just to ride around your neighborhood. Once those familiar streets started feeling repetitive, you began looking for trails, parks, campgrounds, and other places to ride. Then came the question you hadn't considered when you bought it: how were you going to get your e-bike there? The Atlas PowerLift bike rack was created to solve that problem.

Load Your Bikes First

Atlas PowerLift with Bikes Loaded on Vehicle

Traditional bike racks often require heavy lifting, awkward balancing, or a second person to help. For many e-bike owners, loading the bikes is harder than the ride itself. Depending on the rack, that might mean lifting them into place or pushing them up a ramp before you can secure them. The PowerLift changes where that happens. Load your bikes onto the tray wherever it's convenient, secure them, then bring the tray to your vehicle. After setting the hitch head to the height that fits your vehicle, raise the loaded tray into transport position with the push of a button.

Move the Rack by Yourself

Atlas PowerLift with Bikes Loaded on Tray

A 145-lb bike rack is heavy enough on its own. Add two loaded e-bikes and carrying it to your vehicle isn't really an option. The hitch head stays on your vehicle, while integrated casters let you roll the loaded tray to the hitch. Press the button on the remote and let the PowerLift do the heavy lifting for you. When you get home, you don't even have to remove your bikes. Just lower the tray, roll the loaded tray back into the garage, and lock the toe-kick brake so it doesn't roll around in your garage.

Keep Your E-Bikes Secure

Atlas PowerLift with Bikes Loaded on Vehicle

Loading your e-bikes is one thing. Getting them to the trail without them moving around is another. Swing arms and locking cam straps keep each bike right where you left it for the drive. When you stop for lunch, fuel, or the night, integrated locks help deter theft of both your e-bikes and the PowerLift.

Recharge Between Trips

Atlas PowerLift Charging Indicator

The PowerLift runs on a rechargeable battery, so you don't need to connect it to your vehicle every time you load your e-bikes. A full charge provides about 100 lift cycles and takes about 3 hours with the included charging cable. The built-in charge gauge lets you know when it's time to plug it in again.

Hey Dennis. I have an alternative but the Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack item # AT52GR is not going to work well with your Atlantis and Como 4 Step Thru bikes. The fenders go way to far down the rear wheel to avoid the being damaged with you secure the wheel clamps on the Atlas Bike Rack item # AT52GR. Hey Dennis! I'd definitely check your bike measurements before ordering the Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack # AT52GR. It has a 250 lb combined bike capacity and is designed for bikes with wheelbases from 28" to 52" and wheel diameters from 12" to 29". It can also accommodate tires up to 5.35" wide. • Will Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack Work With My 2 Inch Hitch
Hey Gary! The Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack # AT52GR is designed for a 2" receiver, but I would make sure your hitch has enough tongue weight capacity for the complete setup. The rack itself weighs 143 lbs and can carry up to 250 lbs of bikes, so this isn't exactly a lightweight bike rack. As long as the weight of the rack and your e-bikes doesn't exceed your vehicle or hitch tongue weight capacity you're good to go. What kind of e-bikes are you do you have and where do you typically ride?
