Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this InfiniteRule Trailer Coupler Lock Kit for your Demco eZ-Latch couplers. Now this trailer security kit is designed to keep your trailer safe and secure. So whether it's parked or hitched to your tow vehicle, we've got you covered with this kit. So this does include this trailer coupler lock, this is universal, and then a flush-style hitch lock.
And then you're going to get the flush-style trigger lock as well, trigger latch lock rather, for when especially you have your coupler on your ball. So you're gonna get everything that you see here. And this is gonna be, everything is a stainless steel construction and so it's gonna hold up really well to the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to. And so this coupler lock works specifically for the Demco eZ-Latch 2 5/16-inch ball couplers. The cast models only.
And this is going to fit trailer tongues up to 4 1/2-inches wide. And then you probably saw, we have multiple locking positions here. So the idea is you're going to put your coupler onto this 2 5/16, I'm gonna call it like a ball adapter. So you'll secure it, couple it to this, and then you'll put this shackle on top. And then you want it to be as tight as possible so someone can't come by and try to open up that eZ-Latch.
So once you get the tightest setting, you're gonna take this lock here, and get it as tight as possible, and find the holes that are going to match with that tightest possible fit. And so I'm gonna see if I'm matching up here evenly, looks like that I am. Obviously, this will be a whole lot easier to do when you actually have this on your coupler. So then you'll just slide this through like that and then replace the head. And I'm gonna show you how to lock it, actually.
So I'm gonna take one of the keys here. You do get six keys here. Everything is keyed alike. So you're gonna stick that key in and then you might make sure you get that nice and secured on there. And then you're gonna start turning this clockwise, like you're tightening up a bolt. And as you can see, that's starting to tighten up there. It's getting closer towards the shackle here. And then once you have it tight enough, you're just going to find the nearest set of hash marks to back off to, line the key up with that, and then you're gonna be able to remove the key, just like that. So hopefully you get the idea of how easy this is going to be to operate. And then to unlock this, you'll reverse the operation. You're gonna turn counterclockwise, like you're loosening a bolt. And as you can see, that's starting to come off there. And once it's loose enough, that's just gonna pop right off, and then you'll just remove this. And so that's how easy this is going to be to operate. All of the locks are gonna work exactly the same way. You do have this tethered cap to keep that keyway free from dirt, debris, moisture, even, so. And like I said, one key's gonna run everything, and you'll have five other keys to either use as backups or give to someone else who needs access to the trailer. And I just kind of wanted to give you an idea of what this is going to look like in operation. This photo also shows the trigger lock in place, as well, on that eZ-Latch. And if you notice that boot there, that's a lock protector. And so that's just going to protect the lock while it's in use on the universal coupler. So it's just going to go over this like that. So once you run the lock through here, you'll run it through the boot, and then put the head through here. And so that'll protect this unit. So that's a nice addition that InfiniteRule includes with this. So as I mentioned, you're going to get the matching flush-style coupler latch lock. This is going to, obviously, secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler, so when your trailer is locked onto your tow vehicle, it can't be removed from that ball. The latch lock pin length is 2 5/16 inches. And then this flush-style hitch lock is gonna add just another layer of protection by securing your ball mount or accessory to your 2-inch or 2 1/2-inch hitch. So this is going to ensure that when your trailer is locked into your tow vehicle, it's not gonna be able to be removed without a key. So a complete kit here for maximum theft deterrence. Everything is built with premium stainless steel materials. That orange is going to be visible from a distance, so any would-be thief would think twice about trying to get to your trailer since it is locked up. So if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thanks for joining me.
Unfortunately the truck receiver lock is too short, so far all the other locks fit nicely!
