Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe built-in scale hitch with two stainless steel balls for your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this ball mount is going to be a great choice to consider when you're looking for a highly durable, premium, easy-to-use hitch. This features a built-in scale that's going to let you easily measure your tongue weight, ensuring better towing safety and performance. As I mentioned, this will slide into your three-inch trailer hitch receiver, give you two stainless steel balls. You're gonna get a two and a 2 5/16 inch stainless steel tow ball.

So you're gonna be able to tow different types of trailers. Now this is going to be ideal for you if you tow large heavy duty trailers like those used for hauling commercial loads, heavy equipment, or large recreational vehicles for instance. Now this will give you a maximum drop when you have the shank in this orientation of 10 inches. When you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of 11 inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch. So this is going to be very versatile for various towing setups.

And it's gonna give you that height adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers at different heights all with the same vehicle. So with the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, the gross towing capacity is gonna be 21,000 pounds. With the two inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds. I'm sorry, 10,000 pounds. As you see there on the screen, 10,000 pounds.

And then the maximum tongue weight is gonna be 2,200 pounds. Now as I mentioned, this does feature this tongue weight scale that's built directly into the ball mount platform. That's gonna help you balance your trailer for safer towing. This scale is gonna let you know if your load needs to be adjusted before you tow. And it's gonna be a very simple operation.

This is going to automatically give you a measurement every time you couple your trailer for the ball. So this is efficient, it's hassle free, it eliminates the need for you to use your bathroom scale or going to commercial scales off the highway. Now this also features this dual pin slider lock. So let me remove this included cover here and that's going to protect that keyway when you're not using it. I'm going to insert one of these keys. And you can see how easily this is going to slide out. And while I have this out, I wanna show you that this, the pins are durable aluminum along with the housing. And our lock is plated steel. So this is gonna do a great job of securing your ball platform to the shank. And because of the materials it's constructed from, you're not gonna have to worry about corrosion. So that's going to easily slide in and out here to allow you to get that adjustment. And I do wanna show you just how smooth this ball platform is going to slide on this shank as well. And let me go ahead and remove the shank. And I wanna show you how easy it's going to be to swap out the balls. So I do have my two inch ball here. You see my retainer pin there. I'm just gonna tip this over and that retainer pin is going to slide right out. Now this might get stuck in there or might be a little bit difficult for this to come out if you've been using this for towing. And that's okay because it does include this ring here. So you can just use that ring to pull out that pin. But let me go ahead and remove my two inch ball and I'm gonna replace it with my 2 5/16 inch ball. You do wanna make sure the holes line up here. And then all I have to do is slide my pin back into place and just push that in all the way and then that ring will sit in that cavity there. And then I'll just go ahead and replace this on my shank and then replace my dual pin slider lock. And then I am good to go just like that. So I hope you get a feel for just how easy everything's going to be to adjust and just how smooth everything operates. So you're not going to be at the back of your truck struggling to get that height adjustment that you need or to swap out to that ball size that you need. Now this hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, so this is going to give you superior strength and durability. Again, as I mentioned, this is a premium hitch here. So the this features this black Cerakote finish that is actually a ceramic coating that's gonna give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish make this hitch look great on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is gonna do a great job of protecting this hitch while keeping it looking great and working properly for many, many years to come. This does also include this locking hitch pin to secure this entire unit to the back of your vehicle and your trailer hitch receiver. You do get four keys. And one key will operate both your dual pin slider lock and the hitch pin lock. So everything's keyed alike. And then you'll basically have three keys for backup. So this is really an investment that you're making and this comes with theft deterrent built in. So that's what I really appreciate about both the the dual pin slider lock and our hitch pin lock. Let me give you some measurements. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of our ball, we're sitting pretty close to 8 1/2 inches. From the center of our second hitch pin hole about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of our shank about 1 7/8 inches. So this is going to be great if you demand reliability, safety, and durability from your towing equipment.
