Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our ARIES bull bar with the removal skid plate. Now folks, this is gonna feature three-inch tubing in a nice, semi-gloss black powder coat steel finish. Now this is a custom fit application, and as you can see, I'm holding up here just for demonstration purposes today, but it's gonna fit your freight liners and Mercedes-Benz sprinters from 15 through 18, depending on the makes and models and the sizes. So double-check the fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now this does come with the two brackets and the hardware, and spinning it around real quick so you can see the back of it a little better, you have this removable skid plate there in the front in that silver color. Now again, this is gonna help protect your vehicle's front against dent scratches, and this will mount nice and very, very close, almost flush to the bumper from maximum ground clearance. Now again, that removable skid plate is simple to remove. You got, it looks like four different bolts, and that would pop it off.
And then once that's out of the way, you could potentially put in other things as well. Now this does fit round lights up to five and a half inches in diameter. There's a grommet here and here, and those lights would fit right there in the center. Now these are gonna guard against brush, small road and off road debris, those kind of things, and also protect the front of your vehicle as well. And like I said, you can get additional brackets sold separately as mounting points and stuff for LED light bars, round lights, those kind of thing.
Once again, heavy duty, three-inch round tubing, black powder coat steel, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. It's a simple bolt on insulation, again, with the brackets and hardware included. No drilling whatsoever required, everything's included. And you can also pick up separately a license plate bracket that's sold separately, and that'll let you relocate your license plate to the front of the bull bar as well. So check your local regs in your state, and make sure you're doing everything legally.

it bolts right up, except I had to modify the lower grill plastic guard. Plus if you order the plate holder for your tags, better to put it on first

Product was shipped on time no damage bolted right in. instructions not 100% clear had to cut out, instead of knocking out where goes through to bolts to the frame. my vehicle didn’t come with the tow hooks other than that product was as described I would recommend . I got tired of people who can’t park bumping my vehicle works great!

The install is a little mess up. I put it in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and technically I have a 2500 front bumper. Fits perfect and really good looking.
Nice, solid bull bar. The powder coat matches my nerf bars and the stainless steel skid plate looks good with the chrome grill. It was easy to install and took only 15 minutes or so.
Looks good on my 2008 Nissan Titan. I ordered the optional license plate holder and extra lights. Best to install them on the bull bar BEFORE you mount on the truck. This project was a simple bolt-on upgrade. Highly recommend.

The product came with several dents already in the tubing. Probably due to the fact that the metal used is very thin. Like 1/32”. So I could see how simple bumps during shipping would leave dents, if it didn’t already leave the factory in that condition. LOOKS nice. But NOT functional.
