Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt 600 Series Goose Neck Insulation Kit for Dodge trucks. This is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2009 and newer, Dodge Ram and Ram 1500 series trucks and it works either on the 6 foot bed or the 8 foot bed models. On a custom fit product, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it will show you if this will work for your application. Now for this video, I have installed some of the pieces together just to show you what it looks like when it's assembled. The only thing missing would be the goose neck hitch, which would fit right in the center here. This part would bolt to the one side of it and this would bolt to the other side of it. Now this kit will include all of the necessary components for installing that Curt under-bed goose neck hitch on your specific pickup truck model. It is designed to work with 3 different Curt under-bed hitches.
We do sell all 3 of those separately on our website. The first one it works with is the Curt double lock flip and store goose neck hitch. The next one is the Curt quick goose 2 goose neck hitch and the last one is the Curt under-bed folding goose neck hitch. All 3 of those will work with this installation kit. This is a vehicle specific design, so it does optimize strength and installation time. It is constructed from a high strength steel.
The parts are protected by a rust resistant liquid bonder coating. It does include all the hardware and a nice set of detailed installation instructions. The hardware that's included that I use is all grade A mounting hardware. There is no welding or frame drilling required when installing this and the truck bed does not need to be removed for installation. These parts are all made in the U.S.A. One last note, I want to let you know that the weight capacity on this installation kit will be determined by that of the vehicle that it goes on.
