Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear liner has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today in our 2015 Ford Edge, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats in black, part number WT448152. Also available in grey, part number WT468152 and in tan part number WT458152. The thing that I like most about these second row WeatherTech is that it goes up over the hump in the center, because that's something that with most factory floor mats and universal floor mats, you're definitely not going to get, is that coverage over the center. That gives you that extra protection and I also just really like how well it contours to the floor, of the rear of this vehicle. Here you can see the floor mats that we're in the back of this Ford Edge before. They did catch a lot of dirt, but they did a lot of things to escape off to the side, to where it could possibly get ground in to this carpet underneath. So now, let's grab our WeatherTech floor mats and install them. Now with the WeatherTech floor mat in place, you can see how good the coverage is all the way around.
It starts over at the threshold there with that nice raised lip and then it comes around, contours the seat tracks. Goes up underneath the rear of the front seat and comes back around the seat track over here, all the way to the hump in the center, which then it goes over the hump, because it's a one piece design. Then comes down over to the passenger side and continues with that same great contouring and that edge that helps make sure that things stay collected on the floor mat. You've got these channels and ridges and what those are designed to do, is help with traction, but also make sure that any dirt, debris, or spill that gets on here, doesn't have a chance to get off of this mat, because it stays contained within those ridges. Those ridges are also going to help make sure that the passenger's feet stay off of whatever is collected down in the bottom of here. In order to clean the floor mats, simply remove them from the vehicle and clean them with soap and water, or you can pick up the WeatherTech cleaner and protector kit, part number WT8LTZ36K and then air or towel dry them. That's going to complete our look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats in black, part number WT448152, on our 2015 Ford Edge..

Definitely not the best place for them to be floppy, Kelly. I put WeatherTech floor mats in my Silverado quite a few years ago, though a different style, and it did take a little bit for them to form themselves to fit perfectly. We get pretty hot in the summer hear in Missouri, so it wasn't too bad. Being winter now, it might take a little longer, but I think you will be happy with them in the long run. I definitely am with mine! ^___^ Are these just to get nicer ones than the factory mats or are you going to be getting muddy often? The factory ones in my Silverado were absolutely terrible so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that really helps. These are custom-fit mats, but with motorhomes like the Freedom Elite, there can be slight differences depending on the floor layout or trim level. Even though they’re listed to fit multiple models, Thor sometimes makes small changes around the passenger side footwell that can affect how that corner sits. What you’re seeing on that edge is usually from the mat not quite matching the contour of that specific floor shape. Sometimes letting the mat sit in the sun or a warm area can help it relax and settle a bit better, but if it’s still not lining up after that, it may just be a variation in that particular model. If you can share your exact Freedom Elite model, we can double check fitment and see if there’s a better option or confirm if that’s expected for your setup.

I had contacted WeatherTech. Can you please confirm if you have removed the carpeted floormats prior to installing them these floor mats?

The fit isn’t the best. And wish I had gotten the individual ones vs the one that covers the entire front floor. Outside of that they work great. They are dirty from snow and mud but they clean up great.

Its been about a year and the mat is doing its job as far as keeping the carpet looking new. My only complaint is the mat will not stay in place. It will slide very easy. Weather Tech sent some Velcro but it doesnt help in the movement. I have several strips on the underneath of the mat. This is all that Weather Tech offered as a fix. Dont know if I would purchase them again or not.
