Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with these functional, custom floor liners. Mats have a rigid plastic core for durability, and their unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today in our 2013 Ford Edge, we'll be having a look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats available in black as part number WT443491, also available in grey as part number WT463491. Finally available in tan as part number WT453491. As you can we already have our driver side floor mat installed here. I'd like to point out how nice of a fit that this is in our vehicle. That's because WeatherTech uses a digital laser measurement system, to follow all the contours around our vehicle, nice and neat. It fits around our center console nice, comes back around our mounts here for our drive side seat. Follows along our door cell, goes up among our firewall here, and extends back behind our brake and our gas pedal here.
This offers us optimum coverage to help protect our carpet from any dirt, debris, or spills that may occur. We have these nice channels here to help divert water, mud, ice, and snow off our feet away from our pedals. When our feet are on our pedals, we don't have to worry about them slipping off. This mat is constructed of a durable thermo-plastic material which won't crack, fade, or break over time. It's resistant to UV rays, so it will last a very long time in our vehicle. A nice feature about this mat, these two spots here and here, hook onto our existing hooks here for our floor mats.
Just push down over that and it locks into place. Now, I'm going to take our factory all weather floor mat here and slide it over our WeatherTech mat and you can see how much more coverage we gain. This will offer us optimal spill protection, and give us more complete coverage to protect our carpet underneath the mat. Now, one last thing about this mat, is that there's a raised channel along the entire perimeter of the mat, this will help contain any spills that may occur. You don't have to worry about them overflowing onto your carpet and damaging it by staining or eating down into the carpet itself. Now that we've gone over some of the features of our driver side mat, we'll show you how to install the passenger side. We'll take our factory floor mat out, slide it out of the way.
Before we install our new mat, you want to make sure you vacuum underneath your mat, clean up all the carpet. I've already done that so it's nice and clean. We'll grab our new mat now, and slide it into position. We'll take our mat, slide it up against the firewall, push it down into position. You can see just like on our driver side, it follows all the contours of our vehicle, nice and neat. We have the same channels to help divert water away from our feet, so I don't have to worry about tracking it around the rest of the vehicle.
We have the same raised edge that follows the perimeter of the mat, to help contain any of the spills that may occur. When your mats get dirty, they're very simple to clean. For small spills you can wipe them down with a damp cloth. If they're exceptionally dirty, you can remove them from the vehicle, stick them in your driveway. Hose them off with a garden hose, use some soap if you need it. Let them air dry back out in the sun, and place them back in the vehicle once they're dry. That completes our look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats on our 2013 Ford Edge.
