Video Transcript for Installing the WeatherTech Cargo Liner on your 2019 Cadillac XT5

Today I have my mother's 2019 Cadillac XT5 and we're gonna be taking a look at a very important piece of the puzzle. And that is the WeatherTech Rear Cargo Area Floor Mat. Especially with the new car, the key is to protect that car and keep that dealer cleanliness, as long as possible. So the WeatherTech is gonna be the king, of all the different type of Cargo Area Protectors you may be putting in your vehicle. The reason why I like this so much is one and this has really, really high ridges, which is nice. So if you put a crock pot back here, she likes to cook.

If it falls over, it's gonna keep all that content inside. And also, just the coverage that we get. As you can see, there is no floor in sight, which I love that. Just the fact that they have a digitally designed piece, just for your specific vehicle, is awesome. So the cool thing about this is, no floor in sight.

Second thing, it's not really gonna shift around because it's so tight in the area. And the reason why I like the fact that it's super custom fit to it, we don't have to have all those little dimples in here, all little spikes because that does make a little pattern on our carpet. And I just don't like that. I wanna keep the carpet as nice as possible. So that is the cool thing with this, the custom fit, won't shift it around and you're not gonna leave all those dots, down on the carpet.

It's gonna be really easy to clean. It's made of a TPO material, so it's not really rubber but it's not like hardcore plastic. So it is pretty malleable. So if we did spill something in here, I would take it. It's not too hard to fold it in, just pull it out, dump all that gross stuff out.

And then you can either hose it off or whatever. I do suggest, grabbing the cleaning kit that we have for these, just because whenever you clean it, sometimes you just clean it with water. Some of those stains kind of stay there, but they won't, If you use our cleaning kit. As you can see it has a nice little shiny finish to it. So I did use this cleaning kit, to clean this up but you notice there are a little bit of scratches. It is impact resistant, but with any format you're gonna have a little bit of wear and tear, if you're sliding stuff around. And that's just pretty much with anything. I do like the material it's made a TPO, like I said. And it's a little bit better than some of the rubber stuff, I have a rubber WeatherTech right here. I don't necessarily love the rubber materials. I mean, this is another WeatherTech, but we're gonna have to kind of trim it out. This will be another option for you whenever you're looking on our site, but it doesn't have those raised edges like we want. And of course we have to kind of trim it up. But if I we're choose between the two, of course I'm gonna go with the one on the bottom, just because it's a little bit more coverage and it's less of a rubbery material. So it's gonna be easy to kind of slide stuff in and out. But then also a little bit easier to clean in my opinion. We have black right now, I think that was the best for my mom's vehicle because it has black interior but we also have cocoa, tan and gray. So pick whatever looks the best for your vehicle.
