Today in our 2017 Volvo XC90, we'll be having a look at the Weathertech cargo liner in black, part number WT40805, also available in tan as part number WT41805, and in gray as part number WT42805. Here's what it looks like installed. You'll notice we have full coverage over our entire cargo area, with the raised perimeter around the entire mat. This will help contain any spills that may occur. We have these nice cut outs here towards the front for our cargo hooks, so they still come down, so you can still use them to strap down your cargo if you need to. Our raised perimeter continues to the front of the mat, against the second row seats. We have these nice channels throughout the entire mat, which will help divert any water, dirt, or snow, away from our cargo once it's been loaded into the vehicle to help keep it dry. Now for the driver side.
It goes into this compartment area here nicely and follows all the contours of the vehicle extremely well. What I really like about this mat compared to others on the market is that it does offer a superior fit and finish, and that's because Weathertech takes the time to make laser measurements on every car that they produce their products for, to ensure that you have a great fit. Cleaning this mat is super easy. For a small spill, you can just wipe it down with a damp cloth. For a really large spill, you can remove it from the vehicle, hose it off in your driveway with a garden hose, let it air dry out in the sun. Once it's dry, just put it back in the vehicle and you're ready to go.
