Today on our 2014 Toyota Prius we're going to review and install the WeatherTech custom fit rear cargo liner, part number WT40400 black in color. This application is also available in tan, part number WT41400 or gray, part number WT42400. Here we are with the rear hatch open. Since we don't have any old or manufacturer's cargo liner to remove, we're ready to install our custom fit WeatherTech cargo liner. It'll simply sit right into place and we'll just go ahead and push it down around the outer edges. As you can see, it's digitally designed to fit the custom contouring of your vehicle. We even have the special cut outs to go around the manufacturer's cargo attachment points.
All the way around is our raised outer edge which will help trap that dirt, dust and debris on the liner and off of our carpeting. It'll even hold liquid should you have maybe a spill or drag in some inclement weather, rain, snow, sleet or ice. Then if you have rear cargo on it, the channels and grooves molded into the cargo liner will help keep your cargo nice and dry. The thermoplastic liner is rigid enough it holds a nice shape to the rear cargo liner but yet still flexible enough that we can easily get to our storage compartment underneath. Now specially designed into the rear cargo liner is a cut out that can be made to attach for the rear cargo hooks. Just as easy as it is to install our cargo liner, we can also remove it and simply clean it with soap and water.
