Today on our 2012 Subaru Outback Wagon well be installing Covercraft premier custom auto floor mats for both the front and rear in the smoke color, part #: CC76279776. The Covercraft premier customer auto floor mats are available in several different colors besides just the smoke. To see available colors check out etrailer.com. Well begin here on the driver side front. Well first remove the original floor mat and then well install the new Covercraft premium custom auto floor mat. As you can see here there are two areas cut out so that it slides over the two tabs that hold it in place.
It also has nibs on the underside that help hold the mat in place. Theres a stitch fabric edging which adds wear protection as well as keeping the mat from becoming frayed. Now well go ahead and move over here to the passenger side front, again removing the existing floor liner or floor mat first. You can see here, again on the passenger side front, the floor liner has nib on the underside which help hold it in place as well as completely covering the carpeted area, keeping any dirt and any debris off of your factory carpet. Now, for both of the rears well again have to remove any existing floor liner or floor mat.
You will notice how one side has a little longer cutout than the other. The cutout will help you determine which is the driver and passenger side rear floor mat. Again, the underside is completely covered with rubber nibs, helping the mats stay in place on your carpet. The mat is also easily cleaned up by using a vacuum or hand washing with a mild detergent and soft scrub brush and allowed to air dry.
