Video Transcript for How to Set Up Your WeatherTech HP Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic

Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the WeatherTech front floor mats. These are gonna be the WeatherTech HP, which means they're the high wall version. We're gonna take a look at how they fit here on our 2019 RAM 1500 Classic. This floor mat is made of HDTE, which means high-density tri-extruded material. What that means is you have a solid and rigid floor mat.

The sturdiness of the floor mat is even more obvious underneath. Look at the support beams under there. That way, as a front floor mat, you know it's not just slipping around. It's solid and it stays on or in your interior. To help keep it in place, you also have these little spikes or these little nubs.

That way they grip onto your carpet, and you are not worried about your front floor ending up in your pedals. This is designed to work with your vehicle. So notice how you already have these factory nubs inside there. That way as you get the mat onto it, you just push down, and it secures. Takes a little bit of extra effort, but it's worth it.

To install the mat, it's pretty simple. It does take a little bit time though, depending on how dirty your vehicle's interior already is. If you had old floor mats, go ahead and take those out. Go ahead and vacuum your interior as well. Get all that dirt and debris out before you put your new mats in.

These just slide into your vehicle for the driver's and the passenger's side. Make sure to push down to make sure that they are secured with the tabs. And just like that, you have your mats installed, and it makes for a really nice fit inside the truck. Notice the contours. Notice how it's flat where your door is, but how you have these walls. So these walls add a little bit of height to the inside of your vehicle. That way you have a level surface, and it's not sloping too much. That way if you spill any water or maybe you track in snow or rain or mud, all of that will just pool into this larger area here at the bottom. Notice these channels that allow that water to pool. That makes for a much easier cleanup. With this kit, you get two different floor mats, one for the passenger's, one for the driver's side. Yes, they both have tabs, but they have their respective spots. Just pop one in just to make sure it's for the passengers or for the drivers.
