Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with these functional, custom floor liners. Mats have a rigid plastic core for durability, and their unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hey it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install these WeatherTech front auto floor mats on our 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. These are gonna be a really great solution for you if you're getting in and out of your car often, you're tracking in mud, dirt, debris, snow, ice, rain, whatever that may be, and you're tired of vacuuming or cleaning your inside interior. You'd rather just have something that can collect that that you can just pop out, put back in, clean it off when you're not using 'em. These are a really great option so let's get the door open and show you how they work. As you can see inside the Atlas right now, we don't have even factory floor mats in there so it's pretty dirty from just the boots when we're moving it in and out of our shop, and that's just in there.
So now if I want to get that out I'm gonna have to get inside my car and clean that out. But introducing the floor mats to the situation you can see that there are a couple of different spots down there where the anchor points on the back of the floor mats are going to connect to. It's just a matter of fitting it up underneath the pedals. And in the case of this actually being my vehicle I would've definitely cleaned that dirty spot first but this is just for the sake of demonstration so we'll take care of that later. But for now, we just wanna find out where those anchor points match up.
You see we got this one already in place, so we'll just snap that down and then we'll have to maybe move it just a little bit to find that one over here and we're in place now, so we'll snap that down as well. And we're installed. For the other side, it's actually a little bit easier 'cause there aren't any anchor points to connect to. In the event that there were, we still have those spots on the mat, but there aren't so all we need to do is fit it in there and it'll just hold itself in place because it is such a snug fit. It doesn't really have room to go anywhere else.
Now WeatherTech laser measures everything so the fit is about as perfect as it's going to be able to be with you still having the maneuverability to get it in place. You can see the wall goes up and around our pedals, up around here as well. There might be a little bit of memory left in them so definitely after some use and some warmer days they'll even out and they'll fit any sort of slots they might not be fitting perfectly. On the mat you can see we do have these ridges, which is where that dirt, debris, and water is gonna flow to. So it's not just gonna pile up and store by your shoes and you're just gonna track it everywhere else.
It'll store and funnel down and away. So again, you can just take the mat out and clean it off if you need to. The mats are made of a durable thermoplastic material so they're gonna be heavy duty. They're gonna be able to hold up to those messes whether you're getting in and out frequently, or maybe you live in an area that gives a decent amount of inclement weather. Maybe you just have a job that involves you getting your muddy boots in and out of the car very frequently. It's probably gonna be one of the best options for you in that case. Like I mentioned, they are super easy to clean, very easy to remove and just rinse 'em off with hot soapy water or maybe even just spray 'em down with your hose depending on what you have on there. But again, just a really great solution for keeping your interior clean. Overall, I think that the WeatherTech front auto floor mats are definitely a great solution for you if you want to keep the inside of your car a little cleaner. I think that thermoplastic material they're made of is gonna last for a long time and that black finish really compliments the interior. You kind of just forget that they're in there in general. So as far as a solution, I think they're a really good one. And as far as the fit goes, I think it's a solid fit too. This again was just a quick look at those weather tech front auto floor mats, how to install them and how they fit in our 2021 Volkswagen Atlas.
