The fabric prevents dust, dirt, tree sap, bird droppings and even acid rain from reaching your vehicle, yet it is breathable enough to allow moisture or heat trapped under the cover to easily escape.

The fabric is highly water resistant, retaining less than 2 percent of its own weight in moisture during a rainstorm, and dries in minutes with just a quick shake.

WeatherShield HP excels at protecting your vehicle's paint, boasting a silky-smooth finish created by a special encapsulation process. Silicon polymers penetrate and surround each fiber, resulting in a soft "touch" that glides over your paint. The finish contains no laminates or surface coatings that could harm your vehicle's exterior.

This single-layer cover features a high-tensile strength in the wrap (width) and the weave (length) of the material for durability, and it is treated with inhibitors that minimize the growth of mold and mildew.

The cover features solution-dyed fibers that require no dyeing after weaving. This process ensures maximum fade resistance and is environmentally friendly, producing less wastewater and fewer carbon dioxide emissions than conventional dyeing methods.

Of all Covercraft covers, the WeatherShield HP requires the least amount of trunk space to store - packing at about one-third the volume of multi-layer fabric covers - and it can be washed and dried in home laundry units.
