The Quick Binders are rated at 7,100 lbs and support 5/16" to 3/8" chains (not included). Those sizes cover the Grade-70 transport chains commonly used with compact tractors, skid steers, and similar machines. Pairing the binders with the right chain size makes sure the hooks fit correctly and the working load limits match what you're hauling. There are 10', 16', and 20' chains (e28GV, e94GV, and e34GV - each sold separately) available that are rated to pair with these binders.
What Does the Three-Mode Switch Actually Do?

The Quick Binder's lever lets you quickly move between three modes as you're setting up or undoing your chain.
- Extension (OUT): When you're setting up, this lets you open the binder and extend the barrel so you can reach the chain hooks.
- Free-Spin: Lets you turn the barrel by hand to remove slack before you start ratcheting or after the chain is loose.
- Take-up (IN): Adds tension in small increments so your chain tightens fully on the load.
Note: Do not use Free-Spin to release a chain that's under load.
