Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a quick look at the GSI Outdoors silicone Microgripper. This is a heat resistant silicone gripper that's going to protect your fingers while you're grabbing hot cookware pots, cans, different things like that out of your fire, or off your burner. This is going to have a very flexible silicone design, so it's going to fit lots of different sized pots, pans and utensils. You can see we do have the ribbed threads there to help to give us extra grip, and so that we can easily hold on to anything that we are reaching for while also protecting us from that heat. This is extremely lightweight and compact, so it's going to be very easy to carry with you. Even if you're doing some rustic camping or you just have your backpack, you can throw this in there, keep it handy.
It's only about. I'm going to call it about one inch deep, by about one and three quarters of an inch wide, and probably one and a half inches tall. Not very big at all. It weighs about 0.48 ounces, or less than half of a slice of bread, so it's going to be very easy to take with you, and then it's going to be there ready for you when you need it. Including they have a built-in magnet here underneath my sticker, so this will allow you to attach this to your fuel source, something along those lines, so that it's right there handy.
Whenever you need it you can just pull it off, put it on and grab what you need, put it back on. So it's nice having that magnet in there.Because this is a silicone construction, it's also going to be extremely easy to clean, and you're not going to have to worry about fibers or anything that the food or dirt can penetrate into. Simply soap, water, rinse it off, you're good to go. It's going to be very durable, long lasting. It does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
So just something very easy to have in your bag, rather than having to have a full oven mitt or something like that. Just basics of what you need to pull something off that stove when it's hot. I think you're going to be very happy with this, especially like I said, if you're doing some primitive camping, or you just want a simple device to pull things off your stove and keep your hands from getting burnt. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
