Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the PTC Custom Fit Charcoal Cabin Air Filters. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2016 to 2020 Mini Clubman, the 2017 and newer Mini Cooper, 2017 to 2020 Mini Countryman, and the 2016 to 2021 BMW X1, 2018 BMW i3, and the 2018 and newer BMW X2. Now, because this is a custom fit part, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, these are custom fit cabin air filters that'll replace your vehicle's existing filters to improve air quality. These do create a healthier environment in your cabin by providing cleaner air during heating and air conditioning use.
As you can see, these are charcoal-treated media particulate, filters out 90% of outside pollutants. It'll effectively capture dust, smoke, bacteria, pollen, and mold spores as they pass through the filter. This will help protect your heating and air conditioning systems from corrosion and pressure buildup. These are manufactured to ISO 9001, 9002, 9003, and the QS9000 certified standards. They are very easy drop-in installation.
Again, it is for a single use cabin air filter, it does come in two pieces. And these are exact replacements for the part numbers of Ecogard XC10389C, the GKI CF12081, and the Wix WP2131. Now, one note I do wanna mention is the manufacturer recommends changing your cabin air filter every 12 to 18,000 miles or once a year. To determine how often your filter should be changed, we recommend that you consult your vehicle's owner's manual. But that should do it for the review on the PTC Custom Fit Charcoal Cabin Air Filters.
