Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our SppedStrap's HD through the wheel lasso tie-down kit with snap hook. These are gonna be two-inch-wide by 12-food-long. Folks, you will get four of the straps with the through wrap strap in and four of the hook and loop fasteners as well. So, why would you use something like this Well, quite frankly, a lot of those off-roads, vehicles, side by side, jeeps, even those kind of things, a lot of times when you tie them down, if it's not from the axle or something like that, if it's just through the vehicle and down, your suspension can still jump and move when you hit bumps in the road and naturally compress, and then potentially those straps could pop off, come loose, what be it.
In this case, if you're going through the wheel itself, you don't have to worry about that. So now you're lacing through the wheel itself. Now you're anchoring down on the wheels, and that vehicle suspension can fluctuate up and down when you're driving and hitting bumps and stuff. And it's not gonna loosen up your side by side, your Jeep or whatnot that you're towing, making it much safer and secure. So the secure wheel lasso design, as we're calling it, simply goes through that wheel like I just showed you on those images.
And then, of course, you would ratchet it then through the tie down just like these kind of tie downs you've seen before, ratchet style, they're gonna tighten everything. And then, of course, this side has a spring keeper on it, and that's gonna keep things in place and not let 'em fall off. And then of course, you have these hook-and-loop straps here. So once you get all your excess strapping, that's normally just hanging around, maybe you had to tie it down, flopping the wind; no more. You can simply take this and you can wrap it around itself, given all that extra excess strapping a good tight hold so it's not gonna go anywhere after you've strapped everything together.
And then, of course, they give you this really nice robust bag for storage. It's pretty deep inside. I can fit most of my arm inside of there. And it's got zippers, it's got a strap up top so you can put it over your shoulder, and it has very nice ergonomic handle here as well. And the base of this, I think you can't see it and I can't see it, but you can feel inside of the base.
It's got almost like a plastic flexible base stitched inside of it. And then, of course, on the side, you got three different pockets here, two on the sides of beer, one in the middle, and then the same thing on this side. So you could put a lot of extra gear with this bag as well. But again, all this stuff fits inside this bag, and it's a convenient storage for you. The straps themselves are rated for a max 10,000 pounds rating, while the working load limit each strap is 3,333 pounds. Now these are adjustable to accommodate pretty much most tire sizes out there. They are ideal for Jeeps, trucks, and buggies, and those kind of things, but they could potentially fit any wheel that you could get the strap through. Folks, that will wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Comment below or call, chat, email us. We'd love to hear from you and how you're using the straps. Have a good one.
We only used them once to move our new Range home from the dealership , but they worked great. Looking forward to using them to move our Jeep.
