Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this CargoAnchor dual ring mount for trailers with angle iron rails. Now this is gonna be a pretty practical tie down anchor that's going to let you add secure tie down points exactly where you need them on your trailer. This is designed to snap right into angle iron trailer rail. So instead of being stuck with fixed anchor points, you're gonna be able to move this along the rail and position it wherever your load requires on your screen.
I'm just kind of giving you an example of how this can be used. The top image there shows you the with the D-rings in action and then the bottom photo shows you how you secure it when you run it through the rail. Now one of the biggest advantages of this is you don't have to drill into your trailer. The slide in snap in design is going to install quickly and it doesn't require any permanent hardware. So what that means for you is no extra holes or no complicated setup.
So if you ever wanted to reposition this, you're just gonna slide it into a new spot. As you saw, this does come with this snap pin here, so that's going to easily hold it into place. But if you're leaving your trailer unattended, you can swap the pin out for a padlock, which obviously is not included with this, and that's gonna help the turf that to keep the anchor secure when you're not around. So the anchor itself features these dual rings. It's gonna make it very versatile.
You're gonna be able to easily attach hooks, chains, ratchet straps, or rope, whatever tie down method you prefer. Because you can adjust the placement along the rail, you can fine tune where your straps pull from, helping you balance the load and keep your cargo stable during transport. This is built from durable powder coated steel, so this is made to handle outdoor conditions and repeated heavy use without rusting or weakening. In terms of mounting, it's gonna be a surface mount bolt, bolt on style with the fixed mounting feature. So this is designed to be universally compatible with trailers that use angle iron rail.
So again, very flexible as to where you wanna put this. Let me give you some measurements here the best that I can. Looking at what I'm calling the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to five and a half inches. The overall width, this might be somewhat tricky. I'm gonna call it at five and seven-eighth inches. And then the depth, about one and a half inches. But if you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Very good item looks great
The product appears to be well made and would be perfect if it fit my trailer. I have a Carry-On light weight trailer with 1 1/4" angle iron rails. The CB27GR has legs that measure 1 9/16". No way they fit my trailer. Nothing in the web site description gives the overall dimensions of the part. It just says "fits all trailers with angle iron rails".
