Specs:
Whether you're taking it to the river for flyfishing or simply putting it into storage for the season, covering your drift boat is a must to keep it protected from the elements. This breathable, lightweight cover keeps out moisture and prevents mildew from building up on your boat, while also protecting it from UV damage. In addition, the strong, double-folded seams reinforce the cover to prevent rips and holes, even when pressed against the edges of your boat's bow, stern, or gunwale.
To ensure a proper fit for the cover, measure the length and beam width of your boat.

Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're gonna take a quick look at a Taylor Made BoatGuard Drift Boat Cover for 16 to 17 foot long boats with a 84 inch beam. So folks, I do want to start off with talking about how do you measure and make sure that this is gonna fit your boat. So let's get into that first. First, you wanna measure in a straight line from the tip of the bow to the stern.
You wanna include any rear deck extensions or platforms, but do not include any bow spirits, rudders, outboard motors, motor brackets, handles or other fittings and attachments. You don't have to measure up and over the windshield either. The beam width is simply the boats flat width at its widest point, usually near midship. So again, this will fit 16 to 17 foot long drift boats and again, maximum beam of 84 inches. So if you've already got those measurements and you know that this is a fit, let's get into the cover itself.
Now, obviously I'm not gonna be able to open this whole thing due to space and all that. It does come with a nice mesh bag to hold the cover when not in use. It's got a nice little draw string to draw it closed and you can just simply pull that back from loosen it. So I'll go ahead and set that to the side. It also comes with a very nice roll here of webbing.
It has been stitched together and everything, very super strong. What you'll do is you will cut this to length. It's a one inch wide strap. You cut it to length to create the tie downs to tightly secure it to the boat. So what you're gonna do is you're gonna be attach them into the included plastic buckles here on that side, and then you can bring 'em down to attach to the boat frame itself.
Now this boat cover will protect your drift boat while it's stored away during the off season. It is trailer boat cover as well. It is designed to stand up to the riggers of towing, wind debris, that kind of stuff. It should not loosely flap in the wind or rub against your boats hull either. It's gonna be great for short drives through the river or lake. It's lightweight, it's very breathable. It's an acrylic coated polyester. It is gonna resist mildew and UV damage. So a close up here from above, you can kind of see the material. Nice. It's been double and triple stitched here on the edges. There is, I can feel like a hard rope material or some kind of rubberized material inside. And then again, you have your plastic clips here and that again is what the one inch wide strapping here is used for. So that's gonna go in there. So the inside of it is a white color. You can kind of see the stitching here again. So again, nice little material. Feels pretty dang strong to me. And again, we're not gonna unfold everything here just because of space, but I hope you get the idea. Again, you got that thick rubberized band inside of there it feels like, and you got all the different tie downs all across the length and the sides of the cover itself. Folks, it has a nice two year limited warranty. It's easy to clean, a mild soap or detergent and just rinse it with a garden hose and you're good to go. And it's made here in the US. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look today. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching and have a great day.

Great product! Awesome service.
Thank you Theresa I received my boat cover yesterday day
Looks great!!!
The boat cover has held up very well,I’m pleased with the protection it provided for my boat, thanks
This item is of less quality than the same one I purchased several years ago from etrailer. The straps are very labor involved on first set up and straps hardware are not a good design for removing and putting back on the boat. My biggest complaint is the draw string around the boat. This is no way better than the elastic around the boat as the old style was. My overall input is that this boat cover that it is not the quality I have gotten from all the other items I have purchased from etrailer.
I FINALLY received the boat cover. UPS doesn't deliver to my address as it starts with a "0", which they insists doesn't exist. The cover made it to my gate twice but was not delivered due to a very disturbed driver. By switching to my PO Box, you were able to get UPS to "deliver" it to the post office... and I got the boat cover...Yea!
Excellent cover, much higher quality than those on the outfitter market. Thanks for the followups and attention to satisfaction. Hope to have a bigger boat some time in the future so I can buy more stuff from you. Please tell everyone down the chain of command thanks again for their professionalism and follow-thru.
The identical product was purchase by the first owner of the dory I believe 12 years ago. I've been very happy with the performance and longevity so decided to replace it with the same cover. It's nice to find a lasting good product that works at a reasonable price.
Working great, I have giving information to other people so they can get a boat cover as well.
